Registrace 13. 06. 2019
Please take your time to enjoy the beauty of nature!
Proof of species seeks to build an ever expanding picture- and videodatabase of all biological species. Our goal is to make it easy accessible, free for all and that everyone can contribute. The projects aim is not solely for entertainment, but also for documenting and categorizing life in the universe; science. We believe that if humanity see the beauty of the world and its creatures, we will become more conscious and aware of our relationship with it.

Proof of species
Goal:
Proof of species seeks to build an ever expanding picture- and video database of all biological species. It is easily accessible, free and everyone can contribute. The project aim is to entertain, document and to categorize species. We believe that if humanity see the beauty of the world and its creatures, we will become more conscious and aware of our relationship with it.
Concept:
Currently the database mainly contains underwater and forest animals. But…Proof of species as a concept is not limited to these realms and creatures. Microbes, birds, fungi, plants and everything else containing DNA also deserves their place in the database. However, we can not document the zillions of species on the planet by ourselves and hopefully the database will live on and expand forever. Therefore we ask you, your friends, family and the people of earth to contribute with images and video!
Do you want to contribute?
We want the channel to contain reliable data and therefore we need good quality on images/videos we post. We need the name of the species(latin name, local name, english name), location, month and year. Location, month and year is crucial!
Do you want to contribute? Please contact us on: anlangved@gmail.com. We will credit your work with your name, youtube-channel or both😊
Warning: DO NOT use these pictures/video as a source to identify and eat mushrooms/plants/animals. Proof of species rely on viewers feedback and discussions to identify correct species. Species identintification is an ongoing task and therefore some of these species might be wrongly labeled.

Hey! :) From wiki: Hericium coralloides is a saprotrophic fungus, commonly known as coral tooth fungus[1] or comb coral mushroom.[2] It grows on dead hardwood trees. The species is edible and good But remember: DO NOT use these pictures/video as a source to identify and eat mushrooms/plants/animals. Proof of species rely on viewers feedback and discussions to identify correct species. Species identification is an ongoing task and therefore some of these species might be wrongly labeled.
I always find philodromus spiders missing legs, guess their body wasn’t built for their speed.
Good info. In what part of the world have you observed this?
@@proofofspecies8892 Washington State, I only find Philodromus Rufus though.
This is the first one I have ever seen. I live in a little forest in Færder, Norway.
Thanks ❤😢😮❤😮😢❤
Don't mind me, just looking at my greatest nightmare of all time. Ever since that scene in the Shining (the 2000 version not the original) when that wasp nest they 'destroyed', through the power of Christ, miraculously came back to life and fucked everybody up. The thought of having that in my room? I'd never sleep again
Understandable! I actually read the book this spring, great stuff. Jack Torrance is craaaazy!! I didnt know there was another version of the movie,,is it the two-part from 1997?
cute
Trombidium.
Do you think it could be "Trombidium holosericeum"?
Beautiful video and flowers ❤
Nice 👍
I’d be giving them the house keys
Might as well!
Beautiful batterfly. (En vakker sommerfugl.)🦋🦋🦋🦋
Looks like Orcus bilunulatus but that's an Australian beetle. It shouldn't be in Norway.
Thanks for the suggestion! :)
Um, Paul, no wait, Ringo?
How you removed it?
Professionals had to take care of it !
How the hell do you let that build
Imagine a man who lives lives on a farm, who likes to be in touch with nature, who has poor vision, who didnt notice while the nest was little, who ended up thinking that it was cool ! 😅
Oh man, that is so so so bad. 😞😞
❤❤❤❤❤!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰!!!👍👍👍👍👍.
How did this happen? How did they get in, in the first place?
Imagine a man who lives lives on a farm, who likes to be in touch with nature, who has poor vision, who didnt notice while the nest was little, who ended up thinking that it was cool ! 😅
@@proofofspecies8892 God damn. What is wrong with that man? Lol
hahaha! He is a very free spirit!
Very nice pic 👌
It is definitely not a Drosophila. Some species from the family Tachinidae - Dexia or Dexiosoma.
I think you are right! 🙌
Cool! I've always wanted wasps as pets. Hornets too.
You should have touched it
Haha! why?
@@proofofspecies8892 something cool might have happend mushrooms are super funky after all
Beautiful ❤❤
Drosophila hydei (mosca casera) is a species of Diptera.
Thanks for the suggestion :)
👍
Hilsen, fin video.
If i was in that situation.. i would be like nope i live in a tent in the yard now here is the keys... Thanks!!
Fin video, fin sommerfugl. Danaus plexippus

Larvik is hometown of Thor Heyerdahl!
I have read about this plant after your post and found out how astonishing it is. So maybe it would be prudent to add a brief description for every species highlighting its most notable features?
Thank you for the suggestion. It is a good idea and I will take it into consideration :)
How the fuck did that get into the house?
Rumors have it - the man still has a wasp nest in his bedroom.
Hell to the no
😂
Bruh Howd you let this happen?

European common frog
Yes, I think so! Any objections?
But-snouted frog haha
In Siberia the Siberian jay is called Кукша (kooksha).
If you have photos/video I would love to see it!
Based on the clypeus "face" marking my guess is Dolichovespula saxonica
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll add it in the description:)
Bruh this is the type of stuff that always happens to me they always find a way to either sting me or make a nest I'm my living space I couldn't dispise thees little things more than any other insects lol
Hah! Sounds like the wasps want to be close to you! In what part of the world do you live?

I do not think that is a Red Robin, but a Finch.
What kind of finch do you think it is?
@@proofofspecies8892 I'm in the Western US, and it looks like a House Finch.
It seems, according to wikipedia and www.allaboutbirds.org that the "House finch" doesn't exist in Norway. Also, the "american robin" is different than the "european robin" (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_robin). I realize now, thanks to you, that this video is wrongly named, as it should have been "European robin" or "Robin redbreast". I will fix this asap! Thank you for commenting :)
@@proofofspecies8892 No problem. Yes, our Robin is different.
