On Friday, May 17, we welcomed more than 650 friends to the Geraghty for the 9th Annual Cara Gala presented by The Gidwitz Family & Loop Capital. It was an incredible night honoring this community and our work to eradicate poverty - and it was also one for the record books. Thanks to every auction bid, every sponsorship, and every donation, we raised more than $1,000,000 to create more transformations in the job seekers we serve every day!

It's so wonderful to see Eric Weinheimer and the Cara Program still going strong. I to was a Cara graduate in March of 2001. Linda Carpenter was my instructor. In August of 2001 thanks to Cara I was hired by CPS as a teachers assistant I am now starting my 9Th September at CPS. My wife also Graduated from Cara a year before me and has been at her job for 10 years now. Cara is a great spot to get a fresh start. Thanks Eric and Thank you Cara. Michael Ford
