Yeah, Chama seems like ages ago now. You’ve really made some great progress. Next is Montana and the home stretch. If you stop in Philipsburg, MT, don’t miss the Sweet Palace and load up on some huckleberry fudge. I wouldn’t recommend loading your backpack with it when passing through grizzly country in Glacier. Might attract too much attention. Hike on!

Liking the music, what is your source for music??

Snazzy, It is tough to be a solo hiker on the CDT especially when it is raining on u often. But II know there is no place u would rather be now than the CDT. As u have been so far which includes 100+ CDT days, CONTINUE TO BE STRONG , an who knows maybe u will hook up with another SOLO CDTer & then hike the rest of the way to the Canadian border together… Read the registers & see if there is another hiker u can catch. Btw, u may want to take the Anaconda cutoff in the 1st part of your Montana hike. I believe the Anaconda cutoff may raise your spirits. I get it if u have made a promise to yourself to stay on the redline. Finally, if u get into Glacier NP in late September & get into some early snow there is a road along the eastern edge the park that goes to the Canadian border at the Chief Mtn terminus…. I am enjoying your hike and starting viewing your CZcams vids & am sharing your vids on my FB page. Hike On with a smile !!
