Hi everyone, I'm Daniel.
I am a high school teacher who has taught in various capacities, relief, primary full time, High School specialist , IT teacher for adults as well as a number of tutoring roles.
At the moment there is Numeracy and Literacy, LANTITE and NAPLAN help, and I will branch off into other subject matter including beginner Spanish, teaching English as a foreign language and some tertiary/study information and advice.
For parents and teachers I will include a section that provides a synopsis on subject content for an individual year level. This will be brief videos that showcase what a student will have to cover over the calendar year (as per the Australian Curriculum).
Education is power and it is something I have long been passionate about, and I hope you get a sense of enjoyment from the learning that can take place here.
If you ever have any questions or feedback, please contact me on danielgteaching@gmail.com or leave a comment in any of my videos.

@Daniel G Teaching - I think Dianella might be pronounced a little bit different but kudos for this interview. I'm an ESP person and this video is super helpful, don't ask me when I first pronounce Cockburn when I move to Perth 😄
I have to say, this video was quite disappointing for me. I disliked it because I felt it didn't deliver on its promises. The content seemed scattered and lacking depth, which made it feel like a waste of my time. I was hoping for more insightful information or engaging discussion, but unfortunately, it fell short. I think clearer organization and more substantive points would have made a significant difference. thanks for wasting 10 minutes of my time mate.

My apologies. I made a calamitous error with the first question. That should be 17 not 7.

this is the first time that I think math is actually easy. thanks for your comprehensive explanation of every question. because of your video, I can now solve math problems very quickly.
Great to hear!
doesn't the length of the plank change from 2.4 to 2.0m? We are losing 0.2 per end???
I also used the A = 2wl + 2lh + 2hw for cubic metres for a rectangular cube...
As per the square diagram on the length you're only losing length on one side of each 2.4m plank. In regards to whether you'd be losing one lot of 20cm or one lot of 5cm of length to each plank is a bit of a judgement call. To me, if you look at the right hand picture on the left pages (2 orange rectangles stacked) it makes me think these planks which are undoubtedly 2.4m long, are actually positioned lying down wedged into the ground on their 2.4m side. Thus to me, the depth (from the front to the back) of these planks would be 5cm, while the height would be 20cm.
@larajane7954 You would get the right answer regardless, but a more concise description of the planks. Imagine a solitary floorboard plank (like one a pirate walks off) , for a garden bed, would they be stacked flat on top of each other (flat on flat like books) or would they be stacked so their thin sides are on top of each other? I think that for a garden bed it is the thin sides that stack. Does that make sense?
fantastic - I am seeing that I do not read the entire question sometimes... hearing you talk us through it has shown me this! :)
It happens to everybody, even some of my answers as some viewers have corrected me on. If you know what you're doing for most questions you should be ok to pass LANTITE.
This was extremely helpful. I paused the video, tried the question and then went through it with you in real time. Are these questions indicative of the LANTITE? or merely warm up questions? I haven't done maths since 1994 :)
I'd say they were pretty similar yes. The level of maths is LANTITE isn't real high but there are some wordy questions that add some complexity as it can confuse some people on how to start the question.
Thanyou!
Ty so much
Hi Daniel!!!
Hello
Thank you!!! this was so helpful.
Glad it was helpful!
Your an awesome guy!!!
Thank you so much
You're welcome
Thank you so much . I had a question tho is LANTITE necessary for early childhood education teaching in Australia ?
Hi Paul It is a requirement to work as a teacher in Australia. Even if you only wanted to be a daycare teacher, you would still need to pay for and then pass both the Literacy and Numeracy tests.
But on multiple sources it says you need it for only primary and secondary school teaching or higher. We international students already take exams like IELTS so why a LANTITE test now ? anyway it seems like an easy one especially for us Indians who are good at numeracy not too sure about literacy tho @@danielgteaching1377
is LANTITE compulsory for early childhood teachers or primary teachers ?
Hi Paul It is compulsory for all teachers in Australia (including secondary also). Although, I am doubtful whether the influx of teachers that have come from overseas have finished LANTITE tests. To simplify though, anyone who wishes to be a teacher in Australia (and therefore studies education/teaching here) will need to pass BOTH the Literacy and Numeracy LANTITE tests during their degree/diploma.
But on multiple sources it mentions LANTITE is mandatory only for primary and secondary school teachers . We international students give exam like IELTS as well so why would we need a lantite test that too for early childhood teaching ?
Hello there, Only compulsory for primary and secondary.
How about g to L
Grams are for mass, whilst Litres will generally used for volumes of a fluid. The conversion will depend on the density of the fluid (how much it weighs vs the amount of space it takes up). For water, 1ml will weigh 1g. 1L will weigh 1kg.
Thank you Sir,,,
Hi
Hello
for question 23 how much tomato are there
at 50:59 I talk about the number of tomato plants.
thank u \
cheers mate@@danielgteaching1377
Hey there! Finding your videos so helpful! For question 27, what about the half minute?
Ah yes silly me! 15L x 3 minutes = 45 litres. Half a minute will mean half of 15L which is 7.5L 45L + 7.5L = 52.5L in total for the 3.5 minute shower. 100L - 52.5L = 47.5L saved.
Oh great ! Just double checking :) thank you
And I got better grades
You were a amazing teacher
Thanks Julian. Don't forget that when you have to use either 'a' or 'an', check to see if the next word begins with a vowel sound. Because amazing starts with a vowel sound (like the 'uh' sound in the word umbrella) then you need to use 'an' before it. So that would make me "an amazing teacher".
I’m in year 6 now it’s me juilan
your very useful ty
Glad to help
what cube are you using? it seems a bigger than the "standard" Rubik's cube size
Not sure but it's the biggest one that they had in a rubik's cube store in Barcelona.
Your beginner method is not efficient because it needs so many turns
It's not meant to be efficient. It's meant to be simple.
your way of the beginner method is so inefficient.
It's meant to be simple and designed for the absolute beginner who has never completed the cube before. This was in the explanatory video here - czcams.com/video/IRTtLReJPls/video.html
😊 Thank You
You're welcome 😊
For question 10, wpuld it be 26 as there are 14 students with an overlap. 12 exclusively taking Biology and 14 taking Biology plus ethier Matgs or English?
I 100% agree with you. It doesn't ask for 'biology only', it just mentions biology and there would be 26 students in the biology class.
