      It works great for anything that’s dry to damp. It will keep up with 2 to 3 guys feeding it. If you have larger windrows of leaves that will fill multiple trucks, I would go with one of the 37 hp models . We are of course, selling our 99 hp LCT 6000 shown in our other videos, if you’re interested in a monster. 😄

    My new neighbor is very interested in when Im going to pick up my leaves. I like to do them once when they all finish coming down. Now I have a fence around my property so it’s not like they are blowing all over the neighborhood. So last weekend they were almost all down so I figured id do them. Go out in the morning to for a 4 hour call in to work and my neighbor again inquires about the leaves. I said theres still a few in the trees. Lol Later that afternoon I go out with the rake and leaf blower to get them all in piles away from the house and fence and shrubs. My neighbor comes out and says You will never get them all bagged before the sun goes down. I have a little over 2 acres of land. So I say it looks like I have about an hour of good light and about 90 min before dark. I’ll bet you I can get all these leaves bagged in an hour. He asks what we will bet. I say if I do it you shut up about my leaves next year and If I don’t Ill do my leaves every weekend. He takes the bet. I pull out my cyclone rake and attach it to my ride on and suck up and mulch everything in about 20 min. Another 30 min later it’s all bagged up and sitting at the curb for pick up. He came over and handed me a beer and asked where he could buy one. Lol.

    • @faircutservicesllc
      @faircutservicesllc Před rokem

      Yes - we had that one before the 29hp. Definitely an upgrade with the 29hp. The 18hp is great if you need to attach it directly to a vehicle at the hitch, but is really best for freshly blown dry piles. When the piles sit and get wet/heavy, you need the extra HP. We will likely upgrade to the Scag 37hp or 49HP diesel (world of difference) next.

    • @faircutservicesllc

      Hi Matt - it is just bolted onto the dump insert with two bolts. We had to drill two holes through the dump insert to get a 1.5"-3/8" bolt through. Make sure to use a lock nut on the bolts due to the vibrations of the machine.

  • @akron1000gpm
    @akron1000gpm Před 2 lety

    Good to see you gave up on wrestling that beast of a hose and just moved to a "spoon feeding" style of the loader. It helps minimise blockages as well by breaking up the leaves.

    • @faircutservicesllc
      @faircutservicesllc Před 2 lety

      Sometimes it helps to move the hose around, sometimes its best to rake the leaves into it. Depends on the dryness level of the leaves, and how many people we have feeding it. By having someone move it back it and forth like in the first part of the video, you can have others rake the leaves to a wider width in front of it while the hose is constantly vacuuming back and forth - feeding to a single stationary point is tougher unless the leaves are wet and can only be fed so fast. Thanks for the comment!
