Led Zeppelin was given tribute at the Kennedy Center Honors on December 2, 2012. It was televised on Dec. 26, 2012. In my opinion, it was probably the best one I have ever seen. Jack Black introduced the band and the performers include The Foo Fighters, Kid Rock, Lenny Kravitz, and Heart. ALL amazing performances.

I've watched this so many time and every time I break down in tears of joy...seeing Robert Plant so moved is just an incredible moment.
There will never be a cooler President and First Lady to grace the Kennedy Center Honors...GW gave it a college try but Barack and Michelle rocked out. Trump couldnt bother because he would realise how insignificant he was...he couldn't celebrate greatness...his uber-narcissistic ego could not handle that. Not to mention he has no appreciation for creativity and the arts unless it's cooking his books. He knew he was not at all welcome by those being honoured nor by those those honouring.
