so so love this song. and the way he sings it. i find some of the songs from 'back then'.. as awesome, fresh and amazing as they were.. were sometimes tinged with a sense of distance.. that god is distant and we have to call him down.. or 'get him to'. this one, however.. he is right here, right now. as he is indeed. spot on! beautiful.

It is my earnest belief that what we experienced 'back then'.. that god desires each and every one of our homes to be filled with ~that~.. his abiding presence.. in our hearts, our homes, our families.. from infants and toddlers to grandpas and grandmas. covid was about getting our attention on the home in large part.. that hasn't left his heart.

i freakin wore out this cassette. and then the cds "winds of worship london" and "hungry". powerful powerful stuff. theology's a bit off (insufficient) for me now, but the freshness of simply enjoying his intimate, personal love... so very powerful

After god accosted us trhough rodney howard-browne in the late 1980's at the church i was attending (crazily, that little strip mall movie theater church was where his 'laughing ministry' began in the united states).. it was the toronto vineyard in 1995 where that door opened wide to me again with the presence of his blessed love. the pinnacle of that wave, for me, was the 'have another drink/the party is here' family parties. think there were over 4k people for the first one. we'd bring a caravan of cars with us from the u.s. of a. those were such luscious times.. family!.. in the midst of his intimate 'drunken glory'. esp through john scotland and the prophetic edge with which he spoke.. sent tsunami shock waves through my spirit. i kept feeling, this is it! this is it! still is!!!!! freee... to beeee..... weeeeee!

I’ve always loved this CD ❤️. David Ruis one of my favorite worship leaders of the Vineyard and all time. I only wish you included “You’re worthy of my praise”. Not sure why you didn’t include that track from this CD. 🙏🏼
