If the series continue to Asemu only it would have been one hell of a series. A super pilot with just skills and instinct beating every powerhouse pilots.
That moment you're using a super rare cash pilot in a game with amazing base stats but your enemy has max leveled up a free character and beats you.

Many think that AGE is childish series but gotta admit it's one of the most brutal Gundam Series. I mean the animators sure took a sweet time making brutal death scenes just like this one. PS: Zeheart's death is as brutal.
And Memory of Eden Zeheart goes out with extra emotional damage.
I really liked this boss fight! For some reason her attacks made me feel like I was fighting the protagonist from another game. It felt really cool 👍

Since both sides can't gain advantage, they can't have a all out battle. There are war but not much (sounds the most practical to me)

Why Gundam Age isn't recognized as much as the other in terms of videogames?
Because a bunch of people who never watched it say it's bad, even though it honestly did a really good job as a gundam series with a pretty unique setting and style.
It really didn't do that well, it wasn't popular as much. The second arc was the most beloved with Asemu.

Facts too. Just look at how many SRW games that included AGE in its roster. SEED (Destiny) was in all the DS series, after that 00 was their go-to Gundam series, after that Unicorn. AGE only got BX, which isn't talked about a lot.
This was the peak of AGE, before and after was garbage.

The Khronos should've gotten a High Grade. The AGE-3 Normal deserves a Master Grade. And so does the AGE-FX and Gundam Legilis.
i'm still salty about there is no official MG AGE 2 2.0(you could say that is Age 2 Magnum, but there is no reprint of improved AGE2 frame for Normal and Double Bullet.)

@@LordSpleach hell no, MG AGE 2(normal, double bullet, dark hound) can't even hold their own rifle to pose, due to the use of MG AGE1 shoulder, which is fine on MG AGE 1, since it's accessory doesn't have that much weight it would cause an issue. but not with age 2 and all of its variant(except Magnum), the added part on the should is either has equal amount of weight or more than MG AGE1 shield. which would cause AGE2 arm to sag and can't even held a pose, Exia on the other hand while finnicky, isn't exactly on the "oh yeah it can't even hold a pose", so no. MG AGE2 doesn't hold up. not in a slightest

A small detail that I really appreciate happens when the Dark Hound is introduced in episode 34. Kio gets caught in a situation that exactly parallels when Asemu gets caught here. Asemu saves Kio just like Wolf does for him, but then dodges the attack that killed Wolf and counterattacks. It's a great callback to show how Asemu truly has surpassed Wolf and grown into the super pilot that his mentor knew he could be.

It is super subtle but I think it is implied that Asemu might have replayed that moment in his mind or dreams everyday for decades, thinking "if I was stronger than, if I was able to do more, if I was faster.... etc"
Asemu is one of the best non special pilots in the franchise. No Newtype/Innovator/Xrounder/Cordinator/ Alaya Vinyana bullshit. Just straight pilot skills. Asemu/Graham Aker/ Heero Yuy

@@Arrowstorm19 I'm a huge gundam fan and I live in the west. Only good about AGE was arc 2 and this moment. Everything else was not good. If you disagree with me then your in the minority since Japanese only liked the second arc as well.
Desil realized too late that he screwed up minutes after killing the white wolf. Not to mention that he and Flit had difficulties killing each other like evil man and thunder man.

I actually enjoyed Gundam Age a lot, especially Age-2, the story of Age-2 is a story of how a human win against beasts (As X-Rounder abilities are not an evolution like the Newtype abilities or Innovator abilities, but a step backwards). At the end of the day, we are all humans, and we have a lot of issues at hand, improving ourselves to the utmost limits is all that we can do

I've always loved how they make the Gundams themselves characters in their own right by making scenes where they seem to display the same sort of extreme emotions as their pilots. Like how the AGE-2 here seemed to display just as much grief-fueled rage as Asemu himself. And in G Gundam, when Domon has to kill Kyoji to stop the Devil Gundam, they have the light reflecting off of the God Gundam's eyes resemble tears as Domon delivers the final blow. In a sense, they find ways to "humanize" the Gundams themselves to emulate the same emotions their pilot is feeling at that particular moment. And they don't specifically draw attention to those moments either, they leave it up to the viewers to notice, and they don't always make it blatantly obvious, but they can sometimes keep it rather subtle. The Gundams aren't just treated as mere weapons of war, they are treated like standalone separate characters in their own right, and act more as a "partner" for their pilot rather than simply their weapon.
