On 20 May 1966 the Beatles performed and filmed "Paperback Writer" and "Rain" in Chiswick House situated in a symbolic roman garden. The clip for "Rain" was filmed around a huge Cedar Tree. The clip for "Paperback writer" was filmed inside the conservatory and in the statue garden.

Late in the morning on 23 August 1962 Cynthia Powell was dropped off by Brian Epstetin car to the Office Register where Paul, John ane George were pacing about in the waiting room. Moments later they were ushered into the Office Register and a registrar, a dour, solemn man, after a short ceremony, declared the couple wed.

First time to see inside mendips on menlove in 1986 we were told to stand onsidewalk and take photo on tour bus. @terryahoon#24
One of my greatest thrills out your bus stopped in front of johns home in 1986 Nov 11 and 12 our driver named Hillary said stay on side walk take photo it was a surreal moment to last a lifetime @terryahoon#24

You’ve missed one I think? The Thistle Cafe,Banks Road,West Kirby,February 1962 I think,there was a small ballroom on the first floor where I fronted a group regularly round about that time.

Great work. I must visit there the next time in London. As a Jam (and Beatles) fan...i visited Chiswick Park to see where both bands used (The Beatles for Paperback Writer and Rain videos) and The Jam posed for photos in August '81.
Fan of both bands too, and visited Chiswick Park a few years back. Hope you found all the locations. A few Jam/TSC clips on my channel too.

It's amazing to me that no-one has thought or tried to renovate and restore the ashram to its former glory and then open it as the Beatles meditation retreat, to make a buck.
The ashram was completely looted by the people of nearby villages. They took away furnishings and even tore out windows and doors. Then humidity, disrespect and overrun by the jungle are responsible for the decay of buildings. When I visited the Ashram in october 2023 I noticed that most people were there only to adore the Maharishi and not the Beatles.

Very beautiful video. But...I wish there was no Yoko on it, as she was not part of Mad Day Out. She was not part of the band. I also would like to know who is playing the songs so beautifully.

Amazing about the Plaza in St Helens. I was the person who suggested it a few months back, you can Google the gig poster. There's an article in the St Helens Star (you can Google it) how the Beatles had a few beers in the pub (Now the Talbot) opposite The Plaza. Love the videos!

Nos 4 and 5 which were replaced by buses. I went to school by no.72 bus from 1951, passed the house each day. Hunts Cross to the Philharmonic. Went out with Peter Shotton, JL's school friend, whom I didnt meet. Aged 84.
