Haha, thanks for the challenge! I'll see what I can do. That said, if you have never seen James Hetfield with a Rick, there is probably a reason for that. Ricks can do lots of great things, and in private I have played heavy stuff on mine, but the results don't exactly make you want to sell your Les Paul.😉Best wishes to Finland!
@@becauseguitarsolos1264 James does not use rick but it aint written on the stone that you cant try some thrash with rick... I have a rick bass and i play what ever i want with it ;) I bet that atleast motörhead riffs will sound cool with your guitar /

Loved it. Took me back to the 80's when I was a Philly rock DJ. I saw a video where Dean Parks plays that Josie intro. It looks like a 335, or something modeled after one.

@@becauseguitarsolos1264 Thank you for the posts! Every time I see that guitar, I think of the times when I took my old Ibanez and adjusted it to be as thin and twangy of a sound as I could make and played John's part of "She's a Woman." I could only imagine how it would have sounded on a Ric.

Saw King crimson in I think 1973. Indianapolis. Can't remember if Greg Lake was with them.
The man can sure dial in tones, many of those songs were done on other guitars yet he got the sound pretty darn down on the Rick.
Rickenbacker, they invented the electric guitar, only guitar company not to have sold it's soul to the devil 👿, like so many others have, make guitar's and basses same way as they always have, vastly underrated and misunderstood by so many, got a 4003SW myself and love it.

You’re missing the most important riff: Green River. Try to get the same sound if you can. I know you’re not playing a 325, but those toasters should be up on grommets.

I'd be surprised if after all this time, you haven't discovered that your 360 is actually a stereo guitar. You can plug it into two different amps using the RIC-O-SOUND output with TRS cable.

Interesting. They must tune up because I watched a live vid and they didn't use capo's. Dang, I love this song!
Live they play it a half step lower, you can check it out in the SNL recording. It makes sense, too: No stress with a capo, easier to sing the high notes.

What you hear is all digital. I mostly use a modeled AC30, cranked or at least edge of break-up. For the King Crimson riff, I used a fuzz pedal in front of the amp.
Except the Twigs don’t play the song with a capo…

Rickenbackers are great and far more versatile than you think. I have a 330 and 620 and they are my go to guitars. I never though I’d hear Black Shuck played on one! Great job!
