A home haunter's guide to making the most out of Halloween! I will show you how to make halloween decorations and props from the super simple to the most elaborate. I will also give tips and ideas for inspiration!
2022 Halloween Yard Haunt
I ended up doing a simple yard display, but also built a new prop for 2022. I purchased a dragon head from Distortions and animated it using linear actuators and a Fog Fury Jet for the fire/smoke effect. Happy haunting everyone!

Laser Swamp Haunted House Update - 3
zhlédnutí 3,9KPřed 4 lety
This is the latest update to the laser swamp for this year's haunt. I ultimately decided to add a big scare at the end with an old Jason Vorhees prop I bought from a Halloween store about 13 years ago. It was my first big prop purchase and that year all we did was decorate a front window with a vignette of Jason. The motors were not really working and some of the plastic has become brittle and ...

In this video, I show you how I made my version of the haunter's prop known as the cauldron creep. This guy is made out of wood and aluminum, and is an extreme build! Most haunters use PVC, and you certainly can too, but I wanted to try animate the entire prop with just one motor, which meant I needed a solution with virtually no friction and lots of pivoting points for the movement I ultimatel...

Mad Scientist or Morgue Props for Haunted House
Really cool! Also, you kind of sound like Jason Hawes from Ghost Hunters. lol
This is incredible. I am just getting into the home haunt arena and your is incredible . Such an inspiration my friend!!!
man, if i had the time.
Awesome Creep! Only thing I would change is add some smoke coming from the coals beneath the cauldron.
Wow epic update love all the electronics that makes it all work well put together love the new updates on it looks absolutely horror eerie like
You gave me an idea for the texture what about drywall texture in a can or stucco texture..
Drywall texture would be great if it's indoors, or you could seal it. Stucco texture is probably even better and would weather the elements better outside. Great ideas!
Curious...if you're concerned about the creases in the fabric, wouldn't a cheap blow dryer do the trick? I have also hung the fabric on an existing curtain rod using basic shower curtain hooks and stretched it out using command hooks for easy removal (only need 4 to 6 depending on the size of the fabric). P.S. AtmosFX has the BEST videos hands down!
Another helpful tip...If you want sound, I use a cheap but decent Bluetooth speaker and a Bluetooth sender/receiver I bought on ebay (my projector isn't Bluetooth enabled). I found a skinny enough speaker that fits between the window itself and the screen, so there's no worry of it being stolen, even if it did, I'd only be out $10.
Great tip--thank you!
Nice work
Curious if you happen to remember what you used for your smaller screen readout? Definitely a lot of options out there. Diving in head first this year so I'm definitely on the green side of prop building.
Go to EBay and look for old headrest displays. The quality isn’t that great, but you don’t need it to be with a screen that small. They are becoming harder to find. You can also look on Amazon for video monitors (I think it’s about 7”).
I know its been forever ago but where did you find the customized buttons, or did yiu customize them?
I made them with a vinyl cutter (Silhouette).
@@ZombieHaunter408 and are those connectors the Allen Bradley ones you mentioned? They look awesome.
@@sk8sbowlingreviews Thank you. Yes, but they are technically switches as opposed to mere connectors. So if you search for them (eBay is a good place) look for Allen Bradley switches. Cheers!
What is the projector? Im a little nervous because i went with their tiny viewsonic because i actually dont know anything about projectors. Well I’ll find out next week…☹️Also just heat the shower curtain once. You can do it in the shower by spraying hot water on it a few minutes and no more wrinkles
Gow safe it is for the eye
There is no virus in the bottle
Is your projector in your home?
Where dd you get the Grim Reaper?
I'm so glad I found these videos again. The end product was by far one of the best, highest quality home haunts I've ever seen. Seriously impressed with your workmanship and creativity. I can't believe this was 8 years ago now. I still think about this build to this day.
You're too kind. Thank you so much and happy haunting!
Only Antari Ice 101 video I have seen, which mentions the drain. You mention using either continuous or manual drain. Is there a switch of some sort for this?
Yes, the switch is on the back. I leave it on continuous throughout the halloween night, or weekends I'm running fog. Then, at the end of the night, I just during everything off. When the rest of the ice melts overnight, I use the manual drain to pump the remaining water out.
@@ZombieHaunter408 That is great thanks! How do you activate the manual drain?
It's the same switch (three way). @@theroswells994
Um bue is the t-virus ☠️☠️ green is the antidote. 😂
Its not 2022 anymore its 2023.
NIce That Dragon Is Badassss !! HFL!!

Nice to see you back in CZcams!
wow thats pretty sweet right there !! HFL!!
What fabric did u use?
What a great idea! Would love to try this. Curious about what setting the laser needs to be in for a sweep? Lasers usually are just one beam of light so is there a mode to look out for when buying the laser?
All the details are in this video. :-)
Where do you get the videos
Will other lights work besides laser?
No, only lasers will.
@@ZombieHaunter408 could you use like leveling lasers or rotary?
Yes those would certainly work. @@codyroy280
Where do you get the videos from ? To play in the window 😊
Have a projector, figured id huve this a try, but my only viabke window is like 10ft x 8ft 😂 Thinkin a curtain "shear" is the way to go...
Atmos FX sounding petty how they copyright what you came up with
Im sure they didn’t copyright his content. They probably complained that he used a tiny bit of theirs which is called fair use and legal but…petty
cool video, thanks.
This is one of the coolest effects. Wanted to try this, this year. Didnt realize how many lasers u need and how light containment is a must. Wow...alot of work but totally worth it. Looks awesome. Thanks for sharing the process. 🎃 Your garage organization is amazing too....one of my life goals.
Great job, is the room filled with fog and the blue lasers just create the sky?
How much?
This is cool
Looks amazing, for the eyes are those deodorant balls? I want to build a creep this year and like that look but not sure where to get those eyes. Saw them on a few other videos. Thank you
i just saw this T-Virus canister on Steam but was 3D molde was wondering how to Make out of Resin how i end it here, But UR piece is very cool, real Glass tubing and sleek Aluminum👍🏻👍🏻
I'm curious would candle wax work for this project ? I have a large amount on hand and this would be more convenient and cost effective for me if I could substitute the candle wax for crayon wax.
It would certainly work, but probably just not as durable.
BEAUTIFUL...
Definitely stealing some ideas. Awesome tutorial
Can you tell me the size of the crayons, are they Jumbo? I guess you could use any size if you wiegh them right, 2to1? Thanks, enjoyed the video, I won't be using it for the same purpose but it should work for envelope sealing or making faux wax seals for crafts just as well, wouldn't you think? TIA.
The size of the crayons shouldn't matter, because you break them into smaller pieces either way. I don't remember what size I got for this project. Yes--would work great for envelope wax (faux wax) seals. Enjoy!
Try a hair dryer High heat It will take the wrinkles right out.
I have these little resident evil props I just stare at when I could be making some badass video but I’m too lazy p
Great, I only need like 20k in equipment 👍🏼
It would be fun to have though
I finally did it this year and the kids said it was the best fun that they'd ever had. Thanks for posting.
Awesome! Glad they liked it!
I'm trying to figure out how to use a video screen and make it look like a widow that looks outside and it's a graveyard with ghost 👻 floating around... So instead of outside looking in. It would be for inside looking out, also if I could make it look like a haunted picture
buy a grommet kit to add places to stretch the shower curtain. When it is stretched, carefully use a hair drier to remove the creases.
Waiting for new videos this Halloween 😃
Are you near El Cerritos Calif?? Would love to do a rive by!….. thanks
