    That was an excellent explanation. Now I will look for my PB port on my MX6000. You could have shown an example with a 3rd function valve for the loader and explained how that was different.

    Had an issue with my dealer installed 3rd function and called WR Long for some guidance, they answered the phone an hour before opening for business and offered to call my selling tractor dealer to touch base and get the part coming. Stand up company for sure !! and will be using a WR Long when I self install on my larger tractor I just ordered. THANK YOU !

    Great tip. Can you do another one explaining the importance of plumbing it in the proper series. Pump-->Loader Valve-->Third Function, etc... We see a lot of tractors plumbed backwards.

    I think adding some 90 fittings on the connection to your control valve would be a very worthwhile addition. Looks pretty amateur with the hoses routed like that to my eye.

    I have the WR Long on my New Mahindra 26MAX XLT, 20 hours, Durham NC dealer Installed it. It sees to be wired backwards (at least to me). Pressing the thumb button up closes, pushing it down opens the grapple. Cant just switch out the quick connect hoses, as the are male/female, etc. Any suggestions?

    • @WRLongInc
      @WRLongInc Před 3 lety

      Jerry, you have a few options. 1) Take the back cover off the handle and reverse the top and bottom wire on switch. 2) Take the back cover off the handle, push in the tabs that hold the switch in and pop the switch out. Rotate the switch 180 degs and pop it back in the handle. 3) Remove the solenoids from both sides of the valve and take out the 2 screws that hold on the connection block on the top of the valve. Rotate the connection block 180 degs, reinstall the 2 screws and reinstall the 2 solenoids. 4) Switch the hoses at either the back of the bulkhead plate or where the hoses connect to the attachment. If you have any questions please feel free to give us a call Monday - Friday 7:30-5. Joshua.

    not bad . dont push the hay together and use in fields on the farm . you may be able to get away with unloading or stack it at the farm . good idea for small farm . you only need so many square bales any way in one piece of equipment cause where not rich like you nz and australian farmers .lol. we have to upgrade slowly and what we can afford . i'd go for the baler attachment and load with tracter . love ozz and nz but ya don't realise how good you got it .lol. we have to make the best of shit

    I had the same question as BFDdriver about unloading the trailer. The other comment I had was with a field of that size and terrain I would expect to see it used for row crops instead of hay. Are there many units used in the hill country areas of AR & MO?

  • @BFDdriver
    @BFDdriver Před 14 lety

    can you UN load the trailer and transfer to the barn with it or do you still have to do that by hand?

    An accumulator and grapple system is far more efficient and uses less fuel and less wear and tear on the bales. Interesting though.

  • @upbury
    @upbury Před 15 lety

    All that driving around just to get 10 bales, we use a cooks flat 8 bale sledge and a tractor with a loader+flat 8 grab, also comes as a flat10 system but is not so popular in the uk as they are so wide to transport.

    Seems like you could load better if you did it from the driver's side of the truck. The open end of the grapple would allow hay to but up next to the rest.
