lol, "flimsy" door panels. The door panels on my VW Fox were made out of pressboard. Thinner than the garage stuff with the holes you hang tools on.

question for anyone my door was damage to much for a dent removal so I found a door with everything but the interior of the car. If I take my door off swap the interior to the new door I should be good correct there is no videos showing this exactly thats why im asking

Make sure that vapour barrier is stuck down when reassembling. Otherwise your foot well will flood when it rains. The vapour barriers stops rain entering the car and the buytly forms a water tight seal. Check out forum "BMW footwell flooding" for more info. Replace any broken door panel clips or water will enter car through those holes behind the door card. From someone who had months of trying to locate a rear footwell flood

3:50 panel removed. 4:00 when did you knock the two plastic pins out of the lock holder? How do you put them back during assembly? The pins should remain there, the lock is removed together with the sheet after disconnecting the handle. Look: czcams.com/video/K_QTf3Lpo7Q/video.html 13:35 - 17:20. Then you don't have to stick your hands to the lock and use a hook to tear off the connector.

at 3:58 there should be three rivets there, someone didn't put it back last time,because it hard to put it back, Don't need to remove those rivets before remove the carrier panel, it will hard to put it back, I remove the carrier panel with the door lock all at once, first on rear door that fitted 1/4 window or wagon, you need to remove the short window's rail that fit front of the door lock, then remove the lock bolts and then you can remove the all out a little to easy remove the cable that from the outer handle to the door lock ,then can out at once.some models need to remove outer door handle at once. after out ,then can remove and install the rivets easy., front door is easy because no window's rail there,, Hope this help!

However after taking the seats out I needed your video to DEEP clean under the console. Tks because the one I bought was worse than the one you had In the video. Tks so much.

Your gonna run into problems replacing the door handle. When removing and installing these handles they need to be held in the open position while using the t20 to loosen the carrier screw. Also the door skin bolts have 3 different types. The upper corner bolts are tapered and the underneath bolts have a thinner washer for clearance.

Great tutorial! I just found this video. Really wish I had before I tried this in a dark parking garage lol. Anyway, my stick won't move out of park. (It's been slowly getting worse... now it's really not going anywhere. Oh and not heat related. Happens in cold weather too) 'Moves side to side but that is it. My break lights work so I guess the fuse is fine? As you know there is no shift override slot. So that is why I took the cup and shift plates off to rig the 'shifter interlock solenoid' with a zip tie like I saw on another video for newer Mazda 6s. All that hard work removing the plates and breaking a few pieces of plastic near the ashtray >.< and learned my shifter was TOTALLY different. Then I found a fair video on changing out the lever select...something about a small coil at the front of it... but no one sells them! Do you have any videos on this issue? Or any advise? This car is teaching me lots but I'm far from being even a mechanic's assistant lol. I'm trying to save money and just hoping to get this old car to last 1-2 more years. Please help, and thank you!

As soon as you disassemble the door, it's OK, but if you want to put it back together and not get tired, you have to disassemble this panel together with the lock. M the lock should stick to the panel on this plastic support, then it's easier to install and that's the correct technology for this work; ) Sorry for my English but it's the translator's fault;)
