I had a 98 Amigo V6 automatic. Loved that thing. I will say modern vehicles are for sure better in safety and whatever, but it was a great vehicle for blasting around. I always wonder what would have happened if Isuzu had survived in passenger cars and what they could have come up with.

Toyota lockers never work. I have a ‘94 triple locked and a ‘96 center diff lock. Took the money I would have spent fixing the lockers on the triple and got air lockers for the ‘96 instead.

Max height is 6’4” cause that is me an I hit my head on the roof in my H2 often. The gear shifter is a replica throttle of a plane. Roof lights/ sunroof / manifolds cowls will be the culprit for leaks from rain. Check suspension arm and cable underneath to make sure it’s held together/ factory one was trash. Always check under the carpet for rust. Behind the glove box. If it has the 4L60E transmission. Have it inspected or heavy duty rebuilt. Gas is a big one. I fill up every week sometimes two. Check the air bag suspension in the back. Or switch to coil springs.

I've been doing my research on 100 series land cruisers and they seem very capable. The one particular piece of information that I'm lookin for but can't seem to find is the distance from the back of the front seat to the rear hatch. I take my vehicles camping and I'm a tall guy so there are 2 prerequisites, the first is is there enough room for me to lay down in even if I have to move the front seat forward a bit, I'm 6'4" and 2 does the second row seating fold down flat?

I bought a 2000 lx470 new. One problem in 24 years. The ignition switch shaft broke in half. Fortunately my mechanic was able to find a replacement on the internet. Fantastic vehicle.
