You also have, in most superyachts these days, equipment that makes most land based restaurants drool. In my little restaurant, just from space and the cost, I had to put in what we could afford, which meant ovens you have to clean (three or 4 times a week sometimes) by hand, whereas on these boats the ovens all have self cleaning programs, put it on at night, come in in the morning, all lovely and shiny. I agree with Nina, the Fridays are serious work, with week-end crew food, watch-keepers and I used to clean the galley from top to bottom on a Friday evening.

Yes, she's good. I have done it myself for many years, both crew and Head Chef. The crew are often more demanding than the owners, as with many on board, girls, guys, different nationalities, different likes and dislikes, the girls usually are on diets (so they can get slaughtered at the weekends often!!). But by and large, crews are very appreciative of their crew chef, they know how hard it is, because they also work very hard.

both passengers lean into the turn? this isn't a motorcycle. if the ski is leaning to the left in a turn you want the passenger to go to the right, on the high side of the ski to offset the lean. Just like a sailboat.

Avoided it and shallow Barnegat Bay on trips to & from Florida by staying offshore & using Manasquan instead. NJ Sucks.

When you cut onions they release Sulphur into the air ,the Sulphur reacts with the water in the eyes to form sulfuric acid , its weak but enough to make you cry .

I used to sail through little egg inlet in my 19 ft. open cockpit sailboat . Then would go trolling for blue fish along the LBI beaches. I miss those days.

I haven't used Barnegat Inlet or Barnegat Bay in many many years but back in the 70s I had a very good friend who died coming into Barnegat Inlet in rough weather. I never really felt that I got the true story of what went wrong that caused his boat to overturn.

I miss the 60’s and Barnegat….

Barnegat is a lamb compared to Little Egg Inlet on the south end of LBI

They do a carefully scripted roll over with TWO people both on sea bottom.. what about one rider in open water?

WARNING: guide books warn to avoid this inlet because of rogue waves. We carried 6'8, low tide barely coming in out of fuel necessity in almost flat waters. On exit, we saw a large fishing party boat 300 yards out tilt radically. Next, a massive wave while just at the mouth. I slammed on throttle on our 54' ketch as a 30 foot plus lifted us, then dropped us. My biggest fear was slamming the channel bottom but we had managed enough distance to be spared. The dock hands had warned us as we refueled about a disaster with a sportfisherman the previous week killing the owner while riding the fishing tower when hit by a rouge wave, also.

Timing and planning is critical… if done correctly you can mitigate most risk.

I hope watching this isn't an omen. I just bought my first ski and have only taken it out twice. First time it died in the middle of the bay! Great maiden voyage.

Love the videos. For the onions...after cutting in half,place them in the freezer for 10-15 minutes before thin slicing...much less crying:-))

One easy way to scip al the crying when you shop onions is to ONLY BREATHE THRUE YOUR MOUTH👍 It works, I always do it like that. When you breathe the strong onion-smell thrue your nose it reach the tearcanal and make you cry. So by breathing only thrue your mouth it will releave you symptoms. But in the begining its easy to forget and you start crying. But with some practis it will get better 😁👍try it!!
