Watched Jeff Beck perform Moon River, solo, in a small venue, The Brady Theater in Tulsa Oklahoma. You have not experienced the power of music until the reverberations of his string work is felt all the way to your core. So grateful for that experience-sorry you missed it friends.

There are so many great guitar players. Clapto is my favorite. The soul of Satana, the blues og BB King, the speed of Alvin Lee, the power of Jimmy Page. But in the end there is truly only one. He worked on his craft until the day he passed. Country, jazz, rock, blues, pop: he excelled at them all. There are no imitators. RIP Jeff Beck.

I miss Jeff.

A beautiful rendition of a song many of us grew up with which Everytime I hear it brings back memories of being young & carefree. At the end of the Jeff Beck Tribute which Eric put together for Jeff the most poignant moment was at the end when the stage went silent and all of the preformers turned their backs to the audience and watched the video of this song There is truly no greater thing in life than true friendship. Play on Jeff, you will be missed. And Thank You Eric Clapton for being who you are, Jeff's friend.

Moon river? Really. There is such a deep and earned respect for Jeff Beck that the audience will stop and quietly listen to him. Even when he doesn't get it perfectly. Like in this song. Man oh man. I can't believe that I've been listening to him for over 40 years. Come to think about it, the only other artists would be Paul McCartney. First, with the Beatles, and then his solo career.

Jeff's guitar sang with emotion equal to any great vocalist. His talent is bar none. He touched my heart with his music. His untimely passing is incredibly sad. He was such an incredible talent and force in the world. He will be sorely missed.... RIP
