Makes complete sense. I looked into selling stuff I had made and realised no one was prapared to pay what I thought they should be worth. Which is why I don't sell unless it is purely to clear stuff from out of my way and doing occasional commissions for friends

This is why it is so hard to make a living selling hand made goods. Things are only worth what people are willing to pay for them and with cheap mass manufacturing it makes craftsman like you a dieing breed. The main part for me was that it makes you happy.

I reckon you've got the price just right for the Santa belt. My mother always told me that if I thought an item was expensive, I should calculate how many hours I'd have to work to pay for it. £95 is more than fair. Pricing hand-made items is always an issue and is one reason why I'll never turn my wool crafting hobbies into a business. I'd never be able to charge enough to cover the time I spent making things.

I realise that this is probably a contentious issue and I may get flak for it, but let me know your thoughts here.
