In the video you said regular paint. What is regular paint? Latex? Satin, Flat? Eggshell?

DONT do this. You will end up with a terrible looking fan. Just replace it and sell the old one to habitat. That way you don’t fuck up a possibly rare fan (like the one in the vid). And instead it goes to someone who has actual taste in design.

What kind of paint did you use?

That’s an Emerson 1985 Series, better than most modern ceiling fans. You didn’t need to spray paint stencil. Stencil holds value. You could just have flipped the blades over to plain side and maybe spray paint the plain side.

On the back peice, what did you use to put the fabric piece stayed on the back? Looking to upgrade a rocking chair. :) I couldn't hear everything.

I love this! My fireplace has the same stone. I’ve been wanting to change it but ripping it all out is too expensive and I didn’t thinking painting everything all white would look right either. We’re definitely going to try this!
