No not at all. Loosening the triple tree bolts can. But those are not touched during this swap.

Turned out good as far as I know. I thrashed it for a year with no problems. Then I ended up selling it.

I don’t know the amp draw. It’s a harbor freight winch. I would think the website would tell. I had one with an extension cord. Kind of a pain…that’s why I did the battery.

9.7, teched to 10.0, should have lifted sooner. Still shaking down.

@@AshleyJohnson-j2hno oh I see. I replaced the front fender with a super Moto fender. They sell the conversion fender.

It turns my tandem axle trailer fine. I’ve used it many times.

I used the smallest wench the local hardware store sells. It says 1500 lbs. I used the smallest gear on the wench side and the largest size I could on the wheel side. It’s so powerful. I don’t know the max. But it will turn a 2000 lb tandem axle trailer in place. I haven’t tried yet. But I think it would turn it with my car in the trailer. Hope that helps.

@@LeonZedd If I could I would have liked to get equal length long-tube headers for the car, but in California we're limited to cat back modifications only. Even so, the company shows about a 6% increase in rw torque across the rev range with the pipes. Because the engine is so highly developed and efficient, there's little that can be gained short of forced induction or a displacement increase.

@@superwhapper Oh hell that is quick. Was the 1st - 4th gears stock and what size rear tires were you using. I am planning on using an 091 in my 72 bug with my 2.2ltr oxyboxer engine as a daily driver.

Sry I wasn’t notified of this comment…. I got all the parts at a local hardware store. “Tractor supply company “. Ace hardware carries a lot of the same type stuff.

In the vid I said I used a 22mm socket. I actually used a 1 1/4 socket which is right at a 32mm. Then 1/2-13 nuts.

I did. it was a fun project. but they don't really work. with how pissed the motor is, 3 traffic lights and it starts to overheat

maybe try centrifugal fans?

@@13badbrad1 I looked at some of those. The cfm was to low. I’ve seen people have luck with the squirrel cage fans.

it really is a blast. but I chucked the motor. soon I'll be starting on putting in a bigger one

a 22mm socket just happened to work perfectly with the 1/2-13 left hand nuts I had. the spacing with this combo fits perfectly.

I just bought a 22mm trying to replicate the patented tool, but the splines wouldn't fit in the socket, so I had to get a 32mm and that looks more like it

@@lirryeti wow my bad, I went and looked. I used a 1 1/4 socket. which is 31.7mm so ya your right, 32mm. sry bout that. I wonder why I had 22 in my head????

Lol, no worries, I just wanted to shed some light on the tool, cause it's a great idea!! Anyways, I got it squared up with 32mm socket and 17mm nuts for like $5 bucks

keep it tuned right, hit it with enough power to make it slip. and it's a dream!

i was done after 2. i can't say anything bad about that "benco" trans. 4 years of abuse and never a problem

@JGMACHINES I'm talking about shifting into 3rd🙂......but that trans can take the abuse 👍🏽

when it wheelies with wheelie bars, it cost me a set of wheelie bars...I just need to make sure I leave at 18 lbs to hit the clutch hard enough to do it's job. any less boost, I look at the sky.

@@superwhapper Interesting 🤔 so if you give it hell the clutch does it's job and slip....then you may not need wheelie bars.
