Dad is right behind them filming...I think they're ok
It's the little things that mean so much❤
friends for ever 👍
Hello Bob Thanks for your video. We were there last year in the building closer to the beach at Tamarijn. We were amazed at the loss of sand and beaches. It is too bad but hopefully they can rebuild them. Thank you. We hope you enjoyed your trip regardless.
❤
I remember when the Tam was all beach,no rocks,it was amazing, maybe 8years ago,too bad, hopefully will get back to the way it was.
Nice job thank you....
I stayed there like 2 weeks before this was uploaded and the whole place got flooded and the wooden boardwalk got destroyed and hotel rooms were flooded
Serious?
Yup
Oh wow that’s terrible was there a hurricane?
Nahh just some wild waves
Yes it’s very windy there
Great Video
We stayed at the Tamarijn hotel in February and we loved it.
“Blowfish”??!! 🤣🤣🤣

Hi bob! Amazing trip! Did you book through an agent or the Royal Caribbean’s website?
We booked through royal carribean website.
Royal Caribbean website
@@bobwebb71048 thank you!!
so is the Oasis 100% full now?
There were over 6,000 on our ship.
It was very crowded around the pool with 6,000 people but everything else was greT
That was ... refreshing.
Thank you for sharing, the fam and I are going 8/21-8/28. First time.
It's an amazing ship. Getting on is a hassle. They gave us a time to board and said they would not let us in until our time. We were early so we stopped at Starbucks. We git to the terminal the traffic was back up fo a quarter mile to drop off our bags then we hand to stand in a long line for 45 minutes t get on the ship. Most in the line had late boarding times but no one checked. Get there as early as you can. My grandkids parent had a tough time waiting with the kids because they waited for ther 12:30 boarding time
@@bobwebb71048 wow, my boys are teens our ck in time is 1:30. I see they didnt allow cams on their slides?
Our time was 11:30. We got their around 11 and the traffic was long to drop off our bags. The parking garage was full and they sent us to a parking lot which was almost full. Not sure where the rest of the cars were parking. The line to get into the terminal was around the building. When we asked what time they were suppose to enter almost everyone's time was after 12:30. We asked if there was a line for 11:30 and were told to just get in the line. It took us over 45 minutes to get inside the terminal. We told thm we are royal carribean diamond members but that didn't help. My one daughter has 2 boys under 5. She got there at her Scheduled time around 12:30. She didn't get in to the ship until almost 3. It was so stressful with kids she was crying when she got to her room. Everything after all that was great. We had an amazing time. Hope you experience is less stressful. Get there early!
we will also be on the Oasis on 8/21-8/28. Look for me in the casino :>)
@@cliffs1956 Im sure ill see you then. Ill be the the guy with the big head looking confused😀😀😀😃
Great job on this video! Thanks so much for putting this together and for sharing it with all of us. We enjoyed meeting and visiting with you on the Globus portion of the tour. -Tony Meyers
Glad you enjoyed the video. We had a great time. It was a fun group to travel with. Hope all your travels are as enjoyable
Love it!
Thanks for the video. I have this cruise booked for 2024. You have given me some ideas what to see and do in each port. Beautifully shot and the music made me feel so relaxed, Cannot believe 50 mins passed. Take care everyone
That table that utilizes the cup holders is Genius!
Can you upload more pictures. Or video. Yours is great idea. Can you provide details bed measurements
Thanks you! The metal bed frame is 2 ft X 6 ft. For the bed surface, I cut 2 feet off the bottom of 4' X 8' sheet of half inch plywood. I used this piece to make the cupholder table. I cut the remaining 4' x 6' plywood in half. I joined the two pieces with a piano hinge so that the 2 ft x 6 ft bed can be opened to 4 ft x 6 ft. Currently I have everything apart and in storage so that I can use the van for babysitting my grandkids. I'm hoping to you use everything this fall to go camping when the weather cools off. If I can get time off babysitting I will take more picture and a video and post them.
Bob Webb what is the weight capacity of the bed for each side?
@@amechealle5918 not sure of weight capacity but it handles 2 adults
Did this cruise in 2018 on the breakaway. Was my first cruise with my parents. absolutely the best time I have had in my life. thank you for allowing me to live it again.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video. It was an amazing cruise
No sound
That sink module is GENIUS!
Thank you. I wanted something simple that I can use and then easily store when I'm not camping. I can also use it when I take my grandkids on a picnic.
Great build.. I would love to see a picture with the sink in place
I have designed the sink so that it is small enough to go anywhere in the van. Its light enough that I can also move it outside. I dont have any pictures of it in the van. Next time I use the van I will take pictures
I'm crying. Thank you dad!!
Nice! What are the dimensions of the bench folded in half? and pvc thickness if i may ask
The bech is 6 ft x 2 ft. Open into a bed its 4 x 6. I used a 4 x 8 piece of plywood. I cut 2 ft off the top and used that for the table
I used 1 inch pvc. I used 1/2 inch plywood for the bench/bed.
You are so talented and creative with both the bed and the sink set up. Can you post the measurements of your sink cabinet? how much do you think it weighs without the water? We need a small movable sink.
Its 15 x 15 and 24 inches tall. Not sure how much it weighs but its light enough to move easily. Since the video I added handles on the front and back to make it easy to pick up and move around inside the van or take out side. That's the advantage of using gallon bottles of water. They don't weigh a lot, are easy to replace, I can carry spares or buy them at the store. I wanted to be able to convert the Odyssey into a camper and then back into a family car with no damage to the vehicle.
I've all but finished my 2004 Odyssey no-build build. I've opted for a front/back build with the area from just behind the front seats to the point where the side doors slide open to be completely open. Everything else I need is from that point back. So I can open either sliding door and have plenty of room for anything. In the very back I have a 55 gallon tote, the heavy duty kind with the yellow checkered top which fits perfectly in that spot. If my 3rd row bench was not stuck down I would remove it and that tote would fit perfectly in that spot. Behind the tote on the passenger side I have my tri-fold cot mattress, about 2 foot square. It sits on top of a 2X3 foot cement mixing tub which raises it 8 inches so that raises it enough to make a comfortable seat and recliner when the top section of the cot mattress is raised, every comfortable. Under the tub I have 2 sleeping bags, one to go on the mattress and the other as a blanket. On the driver's side is a 2 foot wide plastic 3 drawer dresser. In front of that is a cooler that fits in the space. So when I arrange the pillows and backrest this is all squared off and I just cover it with a tarp. The passenger seat is moved completely forward to allow for the maximum room for the mattress. When I want to sleep I just remove the tub from under the mattress and set it to the side along with the sleeping bags, unfold the mattress and put the sleeping bags back in place. Both the cooler and the dresser serve as bedside tables. I also have a folding quad chair that easily fits in the open space from behind the front seats to the line where the doors are completely open. Best of all, I can take everything out of the back in minutes and have a van with the back completely open. A no-build build.
Sounds great. I haven't had a chance to use my camper yet. I'm still looking at better ways to make it convenient for two people. I designed the camper so that my wife and I can take long weekend trips. We needed a bed wide enough to sleep together but can be folded out of the way when we are not sleeping. The way I have it configured we can access the space from either sliding door. To get extra space we will pull the front seat up as far as they go. There is storage under the bed for storage and 2 folding chairs. We will use an ice chest that will double as a second table. The sink takes up a little space but it is light and can be moved easily.Since we only plan to use it for short trips we will have plenty of space to move aournd inside.
@@bobwebb71048 So far I've only camped out by my house. The advantage of having a no-build build is that I was able to try out a lot of different combinations. I once tried 3 in one week. If I could only get out that 3rd row bench it would add some storage room. I also took out the folding cupholder table between the front seats so I could more easily move from the front seat to the back. Since I never use the armrests I would also like to take them off as well. My biggest concern now that my van is almost at 200,000 is the timing belt job and everything associated with that.
Luckily the 2019 rear seats fold down out of the way. It's a pain removing the second row seats. They are heavy and hard to handle but with them out and the front seats moved up there is over 8 feet of space. Since the bed is only 6 ft long that gives me 2 plus feet. The nice thing about it all is that I can easily remove everything with no damage to the car and can convert it back to six seats for my grandkids. We are hoping to try it this spring for short camping trip.
@@bobwebb71048 It's odd that no matter what the year there seem to be few Honda Odysseys that are converted into campers compared to Toyota Siennas for example. I have a neighbor across the street that has a Sienna that is the same color as my Odyssey and they look very much alike.
The metal for the frame was purchased at Home depot. I originally bought it to make shelves but never made them. I've have the metal for 5 or 6 years so I dont remember the cost.

In Russia we used a private tour company since we had 5 other couple with us to keep the cost down.
We spent the first 2 days in Copenhagen before the cruise. We did research on the internet for sites to see. Once on the cruise we used cruises tours or Hop On Hop Off buses
Enjoyed your video. We hope to do a similar cruise when the pandemic ends. Did you need a guide in the cities or were you on your own? I have been looking at Viking which costs more but they give you guided excursions included in the price. Thanks for sharing your trip.
We spent the first 2 days in Copenhagen before the cruise. We did research on the internet for sites to see. We use public transportation (train and subway) to get around. Once on the cruise we used cruises tours or Hop On Hop Off buses for most ports. In Russia we had 2 days so we used a private tour company (TJ Travel - www.st.petersburg-tours.ru). We had 5 other couple with us to keep the cost down. At Tallinn we took a taxi from the ship to Tallinn and when we were done we walked back to the ship.
We use Norwegian Cruise line and we please with the ship and interact. Having 2 days in St. Petersburg let us see all the sites. Peterhoff palace, the Hermitage, Faberge museum and Catherine's. palace. We even ride the subway which was amazing

Thanks for the suggestion. I was originally going to use milk crates but the Odyssey fold down back seats make it a different height then up by the front seats. I would have to have 2 different crates (one high and one short) that I would have to store when the bed is folded up. Using pvc pipes i can correct for the different heights and when I'm not using them I can take them apart (as you can see in the video) and store them out of the way.
the fold down seats come out very easily. Frees up lots of room to add storage.
For the temporary bed supports, I would use milk crates as you can store things in them and stack them for a temp bench with a board for the top one. If they are too short, shim them up or find another crate.
Using milk crates would make under bed storage a pain in the butt.
Please look at my new video. I have added more details on the bed fold out and an awning for the outside.
Check out my updated video at czcams.com/video/_1FOHISfkfo/video.html. It shows frame I made with pvc pipes to hold the folded out bed. The pipes can be assembled and taken apart easily and stored away under the bench
This is a great bed build. What is supporting the bed when it hinges out
Agree simple but great , also have same question
I have posted a newer video that shows a frame I made out of pvc pipe. The frame can be put together and taken apart easily and stored away taking up very little room.
I made the sink so that it can fit between the bed and the front seats (there is 22 inches between bed and front seat - sink is only 15 inches wide). Its light enough to easily move outside when we are cooking.
