Yo, a 40 + year veteran here. I've had cars that I modified at the time, cuppla ideas worked out and others I'm just thankful that so many cameras weren't around. Still got friends that remind me. Go for it I reckon.

@@benjones8918 nah honestly i didn’t struggle towing them, more so getting your head around the extra workload, like extra pickups ect to fill it up and planning your load ect, id say thats the harder part

Hi, Steve, I'm thinking about starting my trucking career in NZ soon, planning to get a class 2 license and gradually get all classes possible in the next few years, do you have any recommendation on the truck driving school or agency in Auckland? Hmm not too sure who does that stuff nowadays, it was AMS group when i done it all and that was a good way to get it done, worth spending the money for sure, i’d say just pick a company and go for it, haha no way, yeah it attracts alot of attention, too much for me if im honest 🤣 needs more power mods, coming soon 👀
Keep on that self-improvement work with cutting back on your drinking and dealing with your anger issues. You gotta look deep inside yourself, to the parts of you that you dislike the most to find the poison that makes you angry. Then, once you find it - you gotta find a way to channel that energy into something positive. You can't bottle it up, it never works, instead find an outlet that is productive. Could be going to the Gym, could be Music, could be anything - find a healthy outlet for all your negative emotions, so that you can build a life of positivity. I believe you can do it.

@@Truckersteve14 My first “big” job, 50 years ago at the age 19 was taking a A train, a 33’ semi with a little 18’ dog trailer on the back, from Gisborne to Auckland, and trying to back into the loading bay with everyone outside on smoko. After stuffing it up numerous times and spending ages finally getting it in the forklift driver said we normally push those trailers in with the forklift but we enjoyed the show!

That’s one thing I hated about driving in nz. I was doing p.north to the naki return and it would bloody nearly rain every day. I’d hit the road at 3am get back around 1pm pretty much rain in the morning but sunny and beautiful in the arvo. Was a good job but.
