I am an American board-certified radiologist with more than 25 years of experience of post-fellowship practice experience. I still find radiology as fascinating as I did in training. I teach part-time in the UNC Chapel Hill Radiologist Assistant Master's program, and I am also a part time radiologist in private practice. My subspecialty certification is neuroradiology, but I equally enjoy all aspects of general radiology. My present practice is primarily emergency radiology, which covers just about every area of radiology. Radiology is a fascinating area, and I hope to share some of my excitement and enthusiasm with you.

Hearing you asking out loud questions while you’re examining this is what my work comp won’t do. Brushing me off saying calcium deposits. I was shot with a 9mm sig sauer at about 3-5 feet. Bullet fragmented and hit glass cabinet right next to me. I caught injuries all over my left side and middle groin area. X rays show pieces everywhere.
Can a traumatic head injury help cause this?

I was misdiagnosed after the laziest CAT scan read done at University Hospital, San Antonio with IBS 4 days later im back in the ER and being rushed into emergency abdominal surgery for two feet of ischemic small intestine. One month later and in extreme pain with the JP drain which stopped outputting a week ago and I am miserable. I am literally no better than I was before the surgery. I need better doctors.

Very interesting, feeling how the bloating and pain receded within approximately two months made all the difference, I simply go’ogled the latest by Tilly Strankten and her Ovarian Cyst Guide and although it really took about 10 weeks for it to totally shrink and vanish I’ve never felt so light and relaxed.
Can you see enlarged lymph nodes without contrast on low dose chest ct?

My late mother had multiple nodules that kept changing. She had a pet scan. Thanks something changed opps a rushed through bronscopy. Opps your terminal get your affairs in order opps your dying nothing we can do well we can do chemotherapy and radiation but opps your terminal

Are spiculated lung nodules always cancer? Studies state that spiculated lung nodule have a 90% predictive value of being cancer. Is the probability really that high?

I am a 66 year old patient with this. My surgeon told me it is very difficult to fix, so he won't do it, unless it becomes life threatening. I have "clampdowns" as I call them, about every other day, as my first bolus of a meal can't seem to get into the stomach and I must stop eating for a few hours until it clears up. It feels bad, with an intense discomfort on my left side, and certainly I could bring on necrotization and perforation if I just kept on eating. I am wondering if this will be the cause of my death.
