Veritas Large Router Plane
The Veritas Large Router Plane is an indispensable tool for joinery, inlay or hardware installation - any work that requires cutting a recessed surface to a precise depth.
Made to the same high standards as all other Veritas planes, it has a ductile cast-iron body and large torrefied maple knobs, and comes with two high-carbon steel blades. Thanks to a unique spring-loaded clamping mechanism, blade adjustment is quick but precise.

I use mine regularly for all kinds of things. Shoulders, dados, hinges, grooves even level off small inserts. I’ve even used it to bottom out dovetails, just to see if I could, and yes it works for that as well.

I love the king 6000, but I will never buy another because the Shapton pro 8000 cuts faster and is much finer. I love it.

I can't confirm that PMV 11 is easier to sharpen than A2. My non scientific experiece shows the opposite.

It would be nice to show the process of making an end grain cutting board with limited equipment, perhaps equipment sold at your stores. Not many people have access to a $50,000 sliding table saw or a $10,000 drum sander.

I’m usually pretty satisfied with Lee Valley products. Not this table. Very cheaply made. The connections to the tap are the cheapest plastic fitting available. It leaks and leaks and leaks. Terrible. Also there is a black material at the bottom of the sink that has come unglued and has fallen on the ground. Not impressed.

lol right off the bat, why is there a heater up by the ceiling? I’m just as confused as Nick! Heat rises… there’s a reason heaters are all sold as floor units. Why would you ever put a heater that high up, it wouldn’t do anything, especially in a shop like that… lol
