Took you a while to learn that Lost Ark is bad game.

I looked the other day to see if I had any of those GC battle manuals. I have over 700 of them. How did that happen?! I guess I got in the habit of sending my Squadron out weekly and never checked how many I actually had. As a thank you I gave them all new glamours.

looks like we get at least two new trusts this expansion bring it to a total of 9 assuming we get both krile and wuq lamat added to the roster. It might just be krile and wuq to just be duty support only. I guess we'll see soon. 9 would make it nice and even tho.

Ironically, speaking, I quit LoA after hitting 1640 1st week of Thaemine. Thaemine made me realize I was just playing for a checklist and not having fun. Probably going to come back to FF14. Haven't played it hardly at all, off and on since 2016. Never was an end game raider, so never got into it as I never liked this kind of combat. Probably just gonna come back to hunt mounts and achievements more than anything. Sadly, the Lost Ark experience ruined the MMO aspect of MMORPG's for me. Way too many hypocrites in that game for me to want to actively play with other people in games again.

Just curious, I'm also a longtime FFXIV player that went hardcore to Lost Ark 2 years ago, what are some of the things you're doing to cut back on LOA time? Might need to do that myself tbh in order to play Dawntrail

Thaemine G3 is my favourite fight in Lost Ark and definitely one of my favourite MMO raid encounters. Amazing music and visuals and a ton of patterns that are punishing but extremely fair with little overlap. 99% of the time if I died I knew that it was 100% my fault. Very excited to do hard eventually. A lot of people are complaining about the difficulty of this fight, and I can see why considering the homework style gameplay LA has with all the alt reclears. G3's design is top tier, and honestly deserves a better game than Lost Ark. The fight designers feel like slaves to the god awful progression systems.

Been absolutely loving my breaker, enough to get him a lvl 10 Asura dmg gem! Thaemine progging with him has definitely been interesting. My biggest gripe with the class is actually the fact that so many of his buttons have natural forward movement. Its great most of the time dont get me wrong, but if a boss creeps forward slightly during patterns, which happens a lot, you just phase through them and end up missing the front attack. His Ultimate is huge offender of this. Im also not a huge fan of cancelling the asura identity punch midway through to do ideal damage.

My pc broke like 5 weeks after the game came out. I got up to i think 1300ilvl on deadeye but havent played since. My new pc will be here next week and i honestly dont know if im gonna be overwhelmed or not. Do you recommend me started over completely or trying to use whatever deadeye build i had and i think i had 1 alt?

i think the symbolism of this raid is insane. all the hydra locked away in this raid dont have shields besides templar. harpys are blowing up entire rooms now. it shows to me that these vex are from the future, where they may have already won and dont need to engage in combat. templar and aetheon having shields symbolizes their advancement and how important they are to the vex race. maybe the other hydras have templar shields but never expected to use them since they have probably been locked away for so long. such a contrast to garden of salvation, which i think are vex from the past. they feel old, but the prescence of hydras with old shields means that since we killed the future vex, (vog vex) vex either reverted back to their old ways and have been decaying, or they were before the vex of templar and aetheon. idk much about lore someone can correct me lol

It seems like emperor has higher dmg consistency, higher stagger, higher synergy uptime but lower damage ceiling and skill expression compared to empress. In raid scenarios, is the higher damage ceiling realistically able to be reached, and is the reduced stagger worth it for empress? It also appears that emperor suffers from raids where target moves too much. Thoughts?

I'd argue the biggest hurdle now is getting people who are willing to static older content. As someone whos doing this for the first time, I'm having a FUN time trying to get people who are willing to play and do this stuff. Therefore, my only option is Party Finder, and I learned personally how bad Party Finder Ult raids can be. Nobody has any patience for someone who's only experience is the YT guides, if you can even call that experience.

Where's the bosses health or are you under levelled for it ?

From 39:20, when I dodge quickly, sometimes I got hit, but I still can't see any rocks hit me. Felt like ping issue.

Finally a new blazblue game

From the trash corruption mechanic, to the irritating voice lines being spammed over and over when you do attacks, to awful translation and virtually no explanation of the buddy system, I refunded this game. Couldn't be bothered to find this information since almost no info on the game was out a few months back. Nor should you be required to google so many things just to have fun. Glad you liked it though

Awesome showcase. Im very interested in arcana and im still debating wether emperor or empress. After watching this, im leaning more towards empress. Neither feel slow at all. I value speed over everything but empress seems to be flashy and zooming around while still doing huge damage even though no swiftness. Thoughts? I think i may do empress. Thank you!
