So my default view matches, but when I zoom with the axis slider on my throttle and put it in the center detent to go to normal zoom doesn't return it back to my save setting. It actually zooms in at like 60 or 70% and then I have to keybind "normal zoom" to get it back to my default. Super annoying. Anyway how to change this?

You have fantastic graphics, how is that possible ? I have a Rtx 4090 and I9 13900k but mine is not as good as yours.

The Mirage rips! Hopped back in it tonight after needing a break from a mission failure in The Persian Lion Two campaign, over and over. I was really surprised how well the M2000 handles, how responsive the engine is, its agility and amazing speed. It’s so fun to fly! Thanks for the tutorial as always brother. I appreciate all you do for the community. Ps - maybe you can help me on the Persian Lion 2. It’s the 7th and 8th mission, I get to the tanker and my wingman flies off in some random direction until he runs out of gas.

I wonder if you ever go back to view your older videos to see how far you have come along. It's pretty cool. At this point in my DCS career, I realized why your counter measures were stuck in standby. I kept telling you to go to master arm, like you could hear me. Haha. Anyway, it was a great mission showing your learning curve. Awesome.

There is a similar issue with MSFS 2020. As an AMD user I don't have E-Cores, but MSFS will sometimes use HT-Cores for performance relevant tasks and can be really slow, especially the loading times. Process Lasso will help here too. Since I limit MSFS to use only the physical cores of my 7800X3D, the loading times are much faster and more consistent.

Nah brother, I'm not on the fence. I'm watching this to validate my purchasing decision. I don't even know the first thing about the cold war or who flew what planes. This thing just looks amazing and I love spending time learning to fly these complex machines.

This is great quality indeed, but sometimes you're using acronyms without telling what they mean (probably because they're very common, but for noobs like myself it's a bit confusing 😅) Also you didn't say why you are flying this radial after takeoff, nor why this altitude. I imagine this is the standard thing, but could you then tell us where to find these infos for every airfield ?

I love the walleye on the F-18. Big warhead, and a fire and forget weapon OR you can watch it on the TV and guide it while flying home. You can use the targeting pod to point it to the target long range also if you think the optics suck on the walleye.

You should write a novel based on this campaign.

Out of curiosity, how much do you think these results are skewed by the fact that your typical subscribers are modern jet - multiplayer people? Do you think it has an impact on the results, or is it quite representative for the whole community? I always though the SP players are the vast majority, but here everyone seems to play MP, which surprised me. I'm happy to see the NTTR is getting more popular, I'd like to think it's partly because of the campaigns - Iron Flag, Speed n Angels and Zone 5. It's my favorite map, really. Looks simple but beautiful, and performance is great.

Solid video as expected. Just a heads up, the Perry-class frigates weren't exactly "bristling" with AAA. They had a single-rail launcher up front, CIWS out back in between the helo hangar doors, and some deck mounted .50 cal guns (if they had those at all.) They were more intended as an ASW screen than as part of the air-defense umbrella for the big dumb floating airport. Source: my brain and numerous cruises on the Little Frigates That Couldn't But Still Tried Really Hard.

You got the squawk all wrong dude. You have to set the 4 digits squawk in M3, M1 is for mission type etc.. What you did was setting mission type 32 and a squawk of 0100. Kudos to the GCIs, they did a great job!

From what I was hearing, I see you’re using the p51 as a fac(a) - I’m guessing that’s in place of an A1. Have you considered using the Bronco OV-10 mod instead? Might be better suited to the role :)

SRS just had an update this weekend that means the AUX channel now works receive only (as it should be). I can imagine this will make things interesting for future missions. Probably best for the flight lead to be on strike ops on the primary and flight on aux, with the rest of the flight being inverse (ie the rest of the flight able to talk to lead but listen to strike).

Would love to get in on these flights once I get up to speed on the F4 (pilot or WSO). Based in the U.K, What are the typical time zones for flight?

Hey Spud! I'd like to put a little tip in for new people, I'm on at 10:12 so if i miss it, ill put in my method that I taught my friend and he hasn't flipped a jet since, but my tip is, don't expect you to have a perfect textbook landing every time, everyone develops their own "style" of landing, my friend likes to keep speed up till the end and never go under 50% power, and stays close to the ground, but I come in from high and slow, similar to a naval landing, but before i touch down, i personally gas up so its a tad bit smoother (and so jester doesn't yell at me lol) so I come in high and slow, but unlike other people, I basically am gliding until the last minute. Another thing, another huge tip is to study your runway, and everything around it for about 20~ miles and any terrains that can have an effect on your landing. If you have a runway in a valley surrounded by trees and mountains, your gonna want to try to limit sudden movements as much as possible as it can give you a higher chance of becoming a pancake from cousin Antolov.

Man I love DCS but the sheer amount of people with a $2000 GPU that struggle to run it is honestly fucking unacceptable from Eagle Dynamics.
