A special request from a friend, and a summation of how 2020 has turned out. Instead of ye ol' yule log this year, have your family bask in the dumpster fire that was 2020!

My mates and I decide to challenge ourselves to a Spice Off of sorts. We had Scorpion Peppers and Habaneros. Some of us took one or the other. One of my friends and I decided to stuff the Dried Scorpion into a Habanero. This is the result of this.. experiment. Enjoy!

    Hey, my ALU recognizes a super consol x and firestick BUT shows no signal when connected to pc. I have tried a couple different pc's and also different monitors which work just fine. Any advice!??

    Talk about going the hard way. You sir took the hard way of modding a cabinet for what purpose? Emulation? To play PC games? I mean the LCD is crap. It’s great for emulation but not so for todays games. My LUA is only modded for emulation. Anything beyond that is a gigantic waste of money.

      Ultimately because I could. It allows a lot more flexibility on my end with ARCADE Emulators that require extra beef than what Raspberry Pi's or Tiny/Micro PCs can provide. I have added Light Guns to the cabinet as well for House of the Dead series games, Silent Hill Arcade, and a few other titles. It's been working great, and since I used more semi modern hardware, I have options for upgrades if I ever want to. A lot of my PC's get repurposed based on my needs, so there's a good chance in the future the PC inside will be used on another project or to help a family or friend come into the PC Gaming Space. I don't really care about the display so much, it's 60hz - 1080p which is good enough or better than the original hardware most of the games used to played on.

    If you wanted to add an amplifier how would you go about that? The amplifier is built in to the board which is connected with two red and two blacks for left and rights and solder to left and right speakers. Great video with all the modes you did. Thanks Everett.

      Thank you Wayne, I thought I saw a Mod somewhere where you can add in a small AMP board in between the speakers and the built in AMP. I'm not going to go that route, just because most of the games I played through it sound fine with the two speakers I replaced.

      It does to some extent, but getting anything working consistently has been a pain especially getting configurations right. I haven't really tried since some of their last major updates, but it could be better now.

    Can you just use the Atgames as an Arcade system without using the Atgames network? I would like to hook a PC up and map the controls for MAME and Visual Pinball- including the track ball, spinners and pinball buttons. In theory, all I should have to do is turn the unit on and switch the HDMI to the PC source- at least that is what I would like to do. Apparently you can not map the controls using bluetooth to map as I mentioned above. Also, do you have to have the AtGames network connected to access the HDMI switch on the unit?

      It supports Bluetooth and USB connections to connect to your PC. However, USB is the recommended way of connecting because Bluetooth has issues with how it treats the connection to the gamepad game pad. Then you can use whatever you want to set the key bindings.

    • @RandomHashProduction
      @RandomHashProduction Před 3 lety

      No you do not need to have an ATGames connection to use HDMI out.

      @@RandomHashProduction Cool. Do you hook the control panel staight to the computer, or use the external USB? Darn, I would have bought one of those instead of the Legends Two Player panel.

      @RandomHashProduction Před 3 lety

      @@rushmore3927 you would have to use the external USB from the cab to connect it to the PC. I don't currently use it for that because my focus was lightgun shooters. I'm waiting on my Sinden Lightguns to arrive which unfortunately were delayed again. I am hopping the Bluetooth issues get resolved so I don't have to run another cable.
