Terra is strong on physical but slow on attack speed but when putting D-Link ventus it's pretty much make him into Dante from dmc

they never really give it a proper tutorial showcasing it besides a bunch of screens and there aren't many situations warranting its exclusive use besides the free heal and certain finishers and passives, it becomes one of those things that just slipped people's minds slightly unrelated, the complete removal of multiplayer also did this mechanic dirty because you could actually make D-Links with other players and borrow their decks
Y'know what I still can't believe? "D links are useless" used to be somewhat common advice, if I recall....

I prefer D Link to the summons. The passive abilities you get make them very useful.
Honestly it'd be cool to get a mixture of the two. Some summons kinda had passives before, like summoning Peter Pan in KH2 would give you tinker bell's regeneration effect (and auto life), and if you just fought instead of using the Summon's ability, Peter Pan would also shank enemies Sora targets and makes them drop MP bubbles. So it'd be cool to more passives like the D-Link passives. Like Peter Pan also casting haste or aero on you would be cool
I feel like the entire reason the finisher is there and it's not just like a deck command is cuz they knew if it wasnt there you could just infinite combo stuff to death as Terra lmao
