I absolutely LOVE syngoniums, but I’m TERRIBLE with them. I always end up killing them 😭😅
I have never wanted a Purple Passion until now 😍 Even tho purple is my absolute favorite color lol (got some purple love rn actually.) BUT THE AMETHYST AND PERLITE!! 😍 Getting one from my local Nursery/Greenhouse this weekend FOR SURE!
Idk why…maybe because I know nothing about them? 😬 it’s not one I see in many collections tbh. Or I’m just not paying attention lol

I LOVE heartleaf philodendron! The heartleaf and the lime heartleaf are my absolute weakness lol { Edit: So sorry this comment is so long 😅😅 I get to the point at the end, promise lol } I had a huge plant collection I’d built for about 3ish years (starting during Covid of course lol), but mid 2023 some shit went down and I fell into a deep rooted depression. Everything died. Everything. So much money I put into those plant babies. Just a month or so ago I started buying plants again and was completely shocked with the price drop and the availability of some of these plants! (I stopped watching PlantTube too, and any other plant related content.) What I’m trying to say is… THANK YOU for coming across my Facebook reels OUT OF NOWHERE one day and helping me want to love plants again. 💜 So glad you’re on CZcams as well! You should DEFINITELY look in to making long-form content too, tho ☺️☺️ HAPPY PLANTING YALL from my home, to yours. 💜

Bugs, i dont know about birds... But it doesn't take much.. Too much may make the soil or moss too acidic for certain plants

Glad u posted @Root Wata. Most of yr recent posts showed props in perlite. Each week I'd check my philodendron in moss I'd CAREFULLY look 2 make sure the roots were still happy🤫...Guess a plant wants what a plant wants🥰🌱🥰...Especially in different parts of the world

@@RootWata Thank you! Oh wait, did you say moose cake collar? That is what the cc said. I know you used tape for the tabs. You have to make sure they slide in and lock, but yes, once one comes open it's a wrap if they are not tucked in properly.
@@hennesseyme9112 yeah… the moose cake collar goes between the moss and the soil.. You pull it out when it’s built… Sort of like when you buy certain electronics and there’s a plastic tab between the battery and the component
@@RootWata Smart idea. I have never heard of moose cake collar in my life. I swear this plant community is so hard to keep up with, yet so much fun information. Make Fluval Stratum a part of your staple. The stuff is wonderful.

I wrap my moss poles with plastic wrap until the plant starts rooting works to keep the moisture in the moss pole but allows you to still visually enjoy your plant still

My trick! I do this with my mango seedlings and avocados! Honestly it’s great for any tropical anything lol even succulents! When I want to root something I put something moist on the root or nodes and cover leave in lit area and bam. New plant! 🌱 ❤

They are heavy feeders in the summer... Fertilize it every other time you water it... With earthworm castings or fish emulsion.. Anything natural
Your plants are beautiful! I'm afraid to complain about it being 99° right now. This is mild compared to where it will be. I have an AC repairman coming out tomorrow before we hit 105° & up. Stay cool!
