👊One beautiful "Hunting Panther". Understand this 1 of 7 (Jagdpanther) displayed here at Bovington. Here's a video link by Mark Felton to a historic encounter by just 3 of these "hunting panthers" against the Scots Guards Battalion of "Churchill" tanks in Normandy 1944 and how "one sided" that encounter was. czcams.com/video/Rbtlvrj0hY4/video.html Love this "tank destroyer" so much - I purchased a 1/16 scale RC version by Heng Long for $99 two years ago. Here's a CZcams link to that RC model. czcams.com/video/ELAWysm_MWI/video.html You can spring the "big" dollars (300-600) on the Taigen & Torro czcams.com/video/Q16f7LlxVm8/video.html Or "thousands" on the 1/8 and 1/4 scale RC tanks. Absolutely my favorite German armour of WWII. God bless all who served their fellow soldiers in arms. "The true soldier fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him" G.K. Chesterton 1911. 🇺🇲Stay well. Go in peace.
I watch this and i see this tank near go 52-55 meter then i think if they are at war this will go back with reverse 11 meter in 1 minute, 18-19 cm for second (There is no choose commander can look up and see everywhere so this steel monster are a killer but with 2 way, 1. is for other steel monster 2. is for 5 person at Jagdpanther (if that tanks get bad hits near everytime somebody dies or all people are dies) )
Neutral pivoting moves apparently were not recommended with one side of drive train taking the strain of the weight. Inertia and moving turns kept the inner vertical transmission gear teeth less likely to break.
This was a fantastic renovation project. Is hard to believe that this tank destroyer was actually rescued from an army firing range. I hear that plans have been made to renovate the other Jagdpanther that was lying next to it.
OMG the sherman was heavy outgunned against this thing america keeps saying yes but we had more shermans but i rather be in a jagdpanther than in a sherman
Are you serious... The exhaust is fine! They did not give two craps about expensive and hard to produce systems to keep it quiet. This tank was built to hunt other tanks with equally as loud engines!
It would need much less than a Jagdpanther to give a Sherman crew nightmares. I really pity those American tank crew from ww2 against vastly superior German tanks outgunned and completely outclassed. The name 'Purple heart boxes' was quite apt. R.I.P the dead soldiers on both sides. Gone but not forgotten. On a side note.. what a beast of a tank this is. Imagine facing a Jagdtiger. Jagdpanther on steroids.
The Sports Tank of Tanks.
all german engines sound so smooth
綺麗なヤークトパンターですね!まだ使えそうです!
si
wow, that engine sound
Where is this Jagdpanther now? Does Mike Gibb still have it?
It belongs to the Charity called the Weald Foundation based in Kent.
Schwerer Panzer!

Достойный!!!!
The Jagdpanther is a great-looking machine !!!!
Moving condition ... super!
That engine sounds awfull ...
All V 12 gasoline engines sound like that until they are properly warmed up. Afterwards they sound much smoother.
Dear Santa...
I wanna buy that Princess! If I got the money *sigh*
lolbroh its a prince. Panther is male. Its called 'Der Panther' here in germany ^^
L60 sounds so angry at having to pull that Tiger!
So when the description says "Mike Gibb's restored Jpanther" does that mean this is privately owned? Because that would be totally sweet...
real max reverse 3-4 km\hr??!!
I guess not.
no. have more. but here no place und to many people.
yeah I think, Panther had only 1 reverse gear in real life.
Neutral pivoting moves apparently were not recommended with one side of drive train taking the strain of the weight. Inertia and moving turns kept the inner vertical transmission gear teeth less likely to break.
What a beautiful, magnificent tank destroyer! Love the sound of it's engine, sounds awesome! The Jagdpanther is one of the great German WWII tanks!

I can now see why their uniforms then were brown.
Closer to, it must have been a nightmare rolling up in a Sherman and seeing anything beyond a Panzer 4 Ausf D!
if you cant find her grind her
Probably never even happened...more like a T-34...
Even more scary; you would NOT see it. These things always had a way of being well camouflaged.
I play world of tank and one of my signature tanks is this. Thanks for the video.
@@CarLos-yi7ne lol
@@CarLos-yi7ne I think he has some 2000 hours+ now
what a shame they restore the shermans and churchills and cromwells first while this beast deserves all respect
you usually wouldn't see them at all. If you would, that'd probably mean the Germans screwed it up somewhere.
It could have had better armor Burma that time Germany was poor in the late part of the war (1944)
Can you own these legally in the UK?
A bit late but yes, you can

The epitome of an "OH SHIT" moment

10 people are driving american tanks.

Must have been a nightmare to be in Sherman if you knew that there was Jagdpanthers and Tigers around you :D
the panthers woudn't likely be any where near you when they destroyed you
