Omaha Fire & Rescue - *NEW* Medic 2
Omaha Fire & Rescue’s Medic 2 responds from Fire Station 1 to a call. Medic 2, taken out of service in 2011 due to city budget cuts, was placed back into service in March 2021 and covers the downtown area with Medic 1 out of Fire Station 1. Medic 2 is a 2022 Ford/Demers MXP 170 Type I ambulance delivered to Omaha Fire & Rescue in May 2023. It sports a fully red paint scheme, reflective of the department's recent shift away from the white-over-red paint scheme used on its apparatus since the early 2000's.

Anyone know what Happened
Du that’s medic 6
Very Cool!
Oh no it turned off waaaasaah
Sounds so pretty
That's not a Sioux falls ambulance. That's an ambulance responding in sioux falls
Chances that you were on night watch in the background
That rumbler tho.
i would like to thank medic 3 and all the medic and firefighters at the Rapid City FD they saved my life when i was shot at the corner stone rescue mission shelter if it wasnt for there quick response and professionalism i would not be here
Sweet!
great catch
Damn that’s a big response great video
Can u get more New Orleans ems
I’ll probably see ya soon, me and my family will likely go through Omaha and I’ll likely stop at station 1
I love this department
Awesome work you should subscribe to my CZcams channel
Those ambulances are so much better than the small ass ambulances that I live in.
Siren by Satan
I didn't know that they used the same siren from Nightwatch
Amazing video! 🚑🚒🚨
the siren sounds like a war siren.
Why is Q on a ambulance? It’s sounds like a tornado siren
That's not a Q. That's a simulated mechanical from Whelen.
Oh.....
Man I love the FDRC, this Friday I’m going over there for a tour.
Hall 7 was in this
how is this siren called in the US ? Timberwolfe or so? sound bad sorry
Actually, it's a simulated mechanical siren on the Whelen 295sfc9
295hsfc9*
Why did they need to get that big of an Ambulance? Those things are WAY to expensive for how often they break down.
With the amount of calls certain departments run, these trucks hold up a lot longer compared to the smaller chassis ambulances.
Ayeee back when I worked for NOEMS I ran with 3229 all the time!!
Whelan hhs2200
Brandon Gautreau Whalen 295HFSC9
sweet catch!
great catch
Very nice catch!
I believe these were used in various NATO/ISAF military bases in Afghanistan, most notably, Kandahar Air Field.
That's old engine 1
All this time and I thought those obnoxious sirens were dubbed in on Nightwatch.
Of course they weren't faking them all NOEMS units are equipped with Whelen 295SL100 sirens with Mechanical tones they also have howlers equipped on them as well. Nightwatch would never fake a siren or incident.
Rob B the Whelen "Q" sounds like trash.
SPaoline4302 I actually kind of like it. but besides liking it or not, It gets peoples attention for sure!
And I want to see Keeley , Nick , Titus , Dan , Holly , Arkady , the old guy Ted , and the new girl Brooke back for next season !
I could imagine .
Nick and Holly
Nick and Holly from Nightwatch
You can see Nick up front driving .
They should keep Nightwatch going there for another season .
do you know there unit numbers?
They were hard to see .
First sprint is 3021, first ambo is 3235, second ambo is unknown and last sprint is probably a supervisor in an unmarked.
Dave 3235 had Arkady from Nightwatch in it . By the way , the show is in limbo so if you watched it and like the New Orleans stuff , write to Mayor Mitch Landrieu and persuade him to allow filming once again with only the fire department and EMS crews .
I know it’s been almost a year but to clear things up. The white SUV actually belongs to the medical director for the city. Yes New Orleans has a Doctor that sprints the streets (they have several) but the director get his own SUV and the last unmarked SUV belongs to the chief of ems. He to sprints the streets with his team.
@@Dave-ji1hvthe Unmarked Unit is the Medical Director for New Orleans EMS
The sprit is 6210 also know as the district commander
They just know perfectly how to roll code 3, love New Orleans EMS videos!! :)
RTobi (Rummeltobi) I just got one of these dual tone whelen sirens, I made some videos of it, you should check them out.
Amazing video man!! love it!!
Sweeet😊
Fantastic video! Too bad you couldn't cross the street but NOEMS has some beautiful trucks and personally I love the sirens
Nice catch, can't believe it's already 5 years ago when I was right there
Whelen needs to stay the fuck out of the electronic mechanical siren buisness, God those God awful sirens get annoying after you here them all day in downtown Nola..
Right?! It's cool the first 100 times you hear it, then it just becomes annoying after that.
I agree...more junk tones from whelen
the bus wasn't in this so it shouldn't be labeled as such. try various ambulances responding PRI 1 to various hospitals
StueyExMCFD Did you read the description? It clearly states that all unit shown were responding to the same hospital following a stabbing in the French quarter.
If only they got rid of the fake mechanical! But great catch and i greg with others, They know how to roll hot!
This better be an episode of Nightwatch!!
Fr
In fact @@emergencyvehiclesrespondin2982
GOD I LOVE NEW ORLEANS EMS, THEY KNOW HOW TO ROLL HOT!! Amazing catch, would love to see more of them :)
+RTobi (Rummeltobi) Thanks! Stay tuned - plenty more to come!
