This is the most comfortable lift in Salbach. But the shortest ):
Maybe its not mean for skiing but for transport to another lift from parking lot?
Both, but mostly for skiing. It saves you from a long walk through the city.
They have something similar in Adelboden...
The Bubakov cable car is shorter, it is only 172 meters long.
@DevNiki With cabines. Ride last long 5 minutes and it just crosses a river and a short steep hill.
@DevNiki But the Bubakov cable car is fix, it can drive max. 0,5 m/s.
It is weird! Why? A chairlift would be more sensible!!
it is forbidden in austria to build a chairlift over public roads in austria i thought.
@@roberttillema8359 Good thought, but I can think of several resorts in Austria that have such a chairlift running over a road: The Sandlingalm 6CLD Chair at Loser, Altaussee The Achenrain 4CLD Chair, Sonnenlift 1 2CLF Chair and Grunwaldkopf 8CLD in Obertauren The Speilbergalm 2CLF Chair in Gaissau-Hintersee Austauwinkelbahn 4CLF Chair in Dachstein West
Jonathan Cook is there any netting above those roads then? Someone told me that netting is usually mandatory in austria when building a chairlift above open roads
@@roberttillema8359 Yes, there is netting on all these lifts except for the Speilbergalm 2clf, though this is probably because it is a small road where traffic is minimal and slow

Eigentlich eine sinnlose Gondel. Früher bin ich jedesmal Schuss zur Zwölferkogelbahn gefahren. Ist jetzt leider nicht mehr möglich.
