Clapping For The Wrong Reasons is part of Because The Internet, just shows us an average day of The Boy. Those people are named, Emily, Fam, Lorenzo, Swanks, etc. It’s to give us more context of the feel the storyline. Thats why you see all the Pellegrino bottles.
I watched the whole screenplay and im actually slow because in 3005 when he says "emily fam and lorenzo all those people my kinfolk" I DIDNT REALIZE HE WAS TALKING ABOUT THE SCREENPLAY 😭😭😭

If I knew all this back then, I would’ve created a Twitter account cause he even had The Boys & some other characters twitters accounts up in real life & I would’ve gone to the concert. & Kamp (last song starts it), Kuwait & the Mixtape are all a part of Because The Internet & its roll out, whatever he sounds like its on purpose for the purpose of the album. So if its cringe or whatever its on purpose. Even his interviews, he was dressed in the same clothes as The Boy & was in this monotone speaking style because the mood was the characters mood 😅😂❤

Or maybe life isn't boring and we just think it's boring now because of the internet? Because we've made things too interesting and now we can't enjoy little things in life like making some cereal or having a conversation about something stupid beside a fire or that wetsuit that belongs to Roscoe. But what's there to enjoy about a wetsuit? It's just a wetsuit. So? Just enjoy it, you don't have to know why you enjoy a wetsuit to enjoy it, you just have to enjoy it to enjoy it. Just like life, you don't have to know why you enjoy life, you just have to enjoy it.
