Just found this piece in my high school music library, listened to it and immediately chose it for uil solo and ensemble. I’m not at the level to play this yet but I hope to get there in the next two months

Несколько лет назад играла это произведение в аранжировке для оркестра. Сама скрипачка, но какие чувства я получала от этого произведения и от игры нашей солистки! Она была великолепна... Вообще, если сравнивать две версии (где аккомпанемент играет фортепиано и где оркестр), обе хороши по-своему. В фортепианной версии какой-то минималистический шарм, а в оркестровой, лично для мен, полное погружение в произведение. Каждый инструмент вносит свою лепту в общую картину и это звучит невероятно полно, глубоко и разнообразно. Верхние ноты аккомпанемента прекрасно исполняли скрипки, а глубоки басовые - виолончели. Но все жето произведение прекрасно, вне зависимости от того, какие инструменты его исполняют. Надеюсь, что спустя ещё какое-то время, я снова вспомню об этом произведении и вернусь, чтобы переслушать.

My teacher suggested for me to play this piece for solo and ensemble and i’m so glad I did and now i’m going to state. I absolutely love this piece I didn’t know I had the skills to play this wonderful piece.

I'm trying to play this for a high school solo and ensemble, I just realized that I don't have anywhere near the musical knowledge to perform all the musicality that is in this recording. This shows me just how far I have to go, and I am very grateful to see what true mastery of an instrument looks like
YOU CAN DO IT!! I did it for my senior solo. You just have to take the runs slowly and focus on breathing technique!
Yes you've got it in you. Just got to find it and pull it out. A teacher once said to me.
Get the sheet music. Play it ugly from beginning to end. Then break it down into chunks, one or two bars at time. Slow the difficult parts down until you are comfortable with each bar. Repeat, repeat, repeat until you own it.

I’m always fascinated how a persons soul/ personality (call it the way you like) shines through the way they play and write music. This is beyond beautiful. So much grace, passion and love. I’m never tired of hearing Ian’s music and the way he plays it.

My teacher gave this piece to me and it's soo beautiful but at the same time so frustrating that, even if I could play it without making mistakes (which I still can't since I still need to practice), I won't be able to play it as beautifully as this flute :'D
