African ancestral wisdom by Philiswa Makhaye – Medicine Festival 2024
“You have to know that you are the Medicine. You are the Spirit; and you have everything in you, to heal you.”
Philiswa (meaning ‘they will be revived in Spirit’) is a traditional healer & medium of Zulu lineage, from South Africa. Initiated onto her path at the age of 12, she has walked the Sangoma path ever since.

Through voice & song, rhythm and drum we are brought down to this elemental Earth. As on Earth, so too in body. Our internal waters, fires, airs and soils each have a message, a desire, an expression. To learn this language, is to remember an ancient relatedness.
To remember this way and our oneness, to remember the songs of the ancestors, is to dance with spiral of time; this is the gift that Philiswa and Maïlé so beautifully offered to us.
We were honoured to have the feminine forces of Africa weaving magic at Medicine Festival.

This is impressive but a technique I use although it's going to make the climb much reliant on strength is going to stand upright and try to pull from my arms and use my feet just as support not pushing nor anything and this is how chimps climb

Leo urban is right as what of I am hearing right now we shall not be working on “progress” when is say progress like that I’m doing air quotes bc cutt8ng down trees making all this stuff no one should even have medicine we just need nature and trees we should go back to the primitive days a be like the monkeys it was much better back then and hey if you want to walk you can still walk in the forest you don’t have to be in the trees all the time but like leo urban says find your inner animal leo urban is not just the real life Tarzan but he has knowledge that a lot of the people in the world need at least some of that knowledge and common sense. Además los humanos somos animales y estamos muy pero bastante avanzados en comparación con los demás animales así que en mi caso el ser humano es un animal sociable aunque en mi caso no tanto y lo normal es caminar erguidos aunque también se que algunos como yo no tenemos buena postura igualmente caminamos en dos patas y también si eres del primer mundo lo normal es quedaete sedentario y enfrente a una compu y bueno ya sabras lo del tercer mundo ademas yo como vivo estoy bien rara vez subo a los árboles pero siempre cuando hayan frutas o simplemente pedirlas a domicilio además creo que si quieres estar bien debes hacer lo que quieres así que los felicito chicos mi sueño es ir al primer mundo y quedarme sedentarie de una vez por todas este es mi mensaje y espero sean felices siempre
Bueno estoy aquí para dar mi opinión es muy loco lo que hacen y no sería capaz de hacerlo además que no soy muy sociable lo único que me atrevo a hacer es solo escalar por los árboles ir de uno a otro y por último bajarme
