True story when I was in Ireland we stoped in Galway I stoped in a newspaper printing place where I was told they had original prints of the move the quiet man .two girls were in there one girl asked me what I wanted I explained what I wanted the one girl asked if I had a thing for Maureen O Hera I said yes she ask if I would like to meet her of course I sad yes. The other girl there was named Maureen O Hera . I promptly Akkad her to marry me I told her if I ever ran into her I was going to ask her . We all had a good laught. Any she said next time i visit she would take me to ashford castle where a good portion of the film was made . So when I herd this song I like it very much . I plan on going back next year looking foreword to hooking up with my Galway girl.this is one of the best versions I herd .

I think this is the best version I like this song true story I visited Galway some years back and met a girl from Galway when I go back were going to ash ford castle and whatever no joking she has dark hair and blue eyes .this song always makes me smile very sweet memory.

I've hear theirs. its very good, but i like this one better for this tune. i like the simpler arrangement, it is more of a small ensemble song with a classic feel, not a rock tune
