as a lvl 92, its more fun. top tier is not fun, doesnt need and skill and is also just boring. Low tier has cool unique planes and tank which all need to be operated differently

I'm not in your category I guess. As an old player (in warthunder have 300-200 units per nation) whenever i play low tiers I feel super guilty so I don't do it ( under 3.7-3.0 ). Sometimes I do to spade modifications or to get an specific medals for a nation, for example Italia have an dive bomber medal and Stuka is 1.0-2.0 But unfortunately I know some that play it for bullying or for the stats !!! But I know many that play it for fun also and they are nice people 🥰.

I only play 1.0 with my friends that are new to the game, I do sometimes feel bad for doing it, but im never doing it specifically to seal club.

To be fair i sometimes play low tier as a joke. What i mean by this is that i play the Su-57 tank destroyer and spam in all chat about the fact that i have a 5th gen fighter. Yes i have sold my soul and firstborn to the snail.

Because low tier, unlike anything above tier 3 or 4, is actually fun and relaxing. As soon as you hit BR 5.0-6.0 the game just grinds to a complete halt and comes super frustrating.

Seal clubbing is why i left war thunder. I couldn't get kills because of the top 2 planes killing every one multiple times

I'm level 51 but i play low tier and i have 11.7 veicheles becauee My Friends are new in the game

I love war thunder it’s fun… most of the time. I’m only lv 10 tho at 4.3 br America air arcade with low to mid skill

they play at it because they already finished half the tech trees and want to start a new one and wound up playing with 1.0 players, they need to make a server just for them to play together.

I play alot of lower tier especially when i need more silver lions by doing heavy metal hero challenges, not only that its way more fun, plus i hate dying to heli's. Just because youre lvl 100 does not mean you ''should'' be playing higher tier. I know for a fact all these lower levels complaining about dying to higher levels will do exactly the same when reaching lvl 100.

There are lots of low tier premium vehicles from battle pass, rent, etc. and sometimes players just want to play on this premium vehicles

Because eventually you want to start a new nation

I am lvl 100 and play a lot of low tier (Only real example of seal clubbing is taking out the Ka-Chi to roleplay as the raid boss) just cause I get annoyed with the game at like tiger 2+ brs. Usually try to stay within like 2.0-6.0

Without watching the vid, either 2 reasons. 1: They just want to enjoy the BR they like playing, which can sometimes be 1.0. 2: They started a new country and have to start at 1.0

I find that its just much funner at lower tiers, higher tiers you just rather get 1 hit super quickly or you stomp there is very little a middleground and the lions can be brutal if you are not playing good where as at lower tiers you can get into a 1-2 min shootoff where you are jsut stuck at each other looking for a weak point or the vehicles have a certain amount of jank ytop them, that kinda makes it funny to fight someone

As a level 100 i mainly play low tier to play with my friends that are new or to start/researching a tree not to mention i get to play with tanks that i normally don't, most of the time though it feels like seal clubbing with friends

What annoys me is when they camp across the map covered in bushes

PERSONALLY I PLAY LOWER TIER BECAUSE I WAS TIRED OF USING WW2 TANKS AND END UP FIGHTING COLD WAR TANKS. PLUS AT LOWER TIER I DON'T LOSE 75% OF MY TANKS TO PLANES. RB GROUND USUALLY BECOMES AIR ARCADE AND I END UP JUST A GROUND TARGET FOR PLANES. AND BESIDES YOU SEE A LOT OF NOOBS PLAYING TOP TIERS SO WHAT IS THE PROBLEM

Personally i prefer low tier because the map i used to play in low tier were much easier for me to learn and adapt. Now in 8.0 is hard for me to learn and adapt on the maps that are open field or as usual game throwing me new maps i've never played and me no clue where should i go and what to do.

Lvl100 means nothing tbh. You can be lvl100 and be trash. You can be lvl30 and be a god

I hate low tier, i play it like 1-2 times in a month, and when i do i dominate the match, then i feel bad for those players and go up, i usually dont play below 8.3

Its just funnier for some people than top tier. I usually play as squad with new players to help then learn too

To be fair, "seal clubber" is a bit of a broad term I have so many hours in this game, and 4 nations with well over a hundred vehicles, and I still mostly paly low tier ground battles because that's where the game is still fun for me. I don't go there to sealclub (except when I play the B1 ter haha), it's just what I find fun, even if I have grinded out a lot of the other vehicles too already, primarily for squadron battles That last part is a pretty big distinction imo, a lot of people grind vehicles for squadron battles amongst the Level 100s, and I have barely touched a lot of the vehicles outside of SQB. THena gain, that is a hard data to quantify, so it "missing" isn't a real issue. Great video, have a sub!

Why?? it is simple...because it is the funnier tier to play, if you see some lv100 player rushing in a arcade battle in 1.0 it is because he just want to have fun

My lobby’s must be weird in any game mode I get atleast 5 level 100s at 1.0

I never met them, but I got a premium tank that had jets as air support. I think everyone got mad and raged...

Some of us are just looking for a chill game or trying to boost are friends that are low tier

The problem with this helping new player approach is that the players of top clans often make numerous accounts, and buy the meta vehicles to boost their clan rating. Some of these vehicles are in the tech tree. So to make the grind faster they stomp beginners (not at br 1.0 but up till 6.7 I consider every player beginner)

In sports the losing team continues having fun, makes good plays and can even come back from losing. In video games and especially War Thunder this is rarely the case. This is such a fundamental design choice that isn't even considered by most devs.

I'm level 100 and even after a few month break from the game I still come back and practice using bad tier 2 and 3s to get back into the game. I haven't touched tier 1,2,or 3 in like 2 years

What about people who main air but now want to try out ground. Is type of vehicles also factored in?

It does get hard to learn the game and get better when consistently getting smacked down by a bushed up lvl 100 event vehicle or somthing similar. Thwy could at least give some advice share the mistakes made to help people. Instead of telling them they suck and gky.. just sayin
