I look forward to see what promises to be a long overdue, deeper conversation about South African Wines, how it is made, who makes and drinks wine, and the relationship to land that is at the core of our woundedness as a society. Natasha and Wade, you are doing awesome work to honour our ancestors and opening up new galaxies for future generations.

Interesting insights into a very exciting new wine brand. Having tasted the range I was very impressed by all the wines but particularly the white wine blend ( sauvignon blanc/semillion) and the Syrah. The wines from this region are elegant, refined and carry an 'old world' feel. Wade is being very modest about his wine making achievements . The wines speak for themselves... highly recommended....

Society often judges based on superficial criteria, like only having a matric. However, this overlooks a profound truth: it’s not about the car you drive but the skill and determination of the driver. True value and capabilities aren’t measured by material possessions or accolades but by how a person utilizes what they have, no matter how limited. This teaches us that our worth isn’t dictated by societal standards or external validations. Greatness lies in resilience, creativity, and the ability to maximize our resources. In life, it’s the journey and the choices we make with our given tools that define us. We should celebrate those who, despite having little, rise to greatness through their unwavering spirit and tenacity.

Change the narrative of "small farmers" being non-white farmers to family driven farms across all cultures and you will have much more success. Millions and millions of rands are being wasted on individuals who are connected - the focus is not on economical and enviromentally sustainable production, but rather outrages infrastructure development to enrich the tenderpreneurs and their connections in government positions. Please stop this and get that money into food production John!
