I look forward to see what promises to be a long overdue, deeper conversation about South African Wines, how it is made, who makes and drinks wine, and the relationship to land that is at the core of our woundedness as a society. Interesting insights into a very exciting new wine brand. Having tasted the range I was very impressed by all the wines but particularly the white wine blend ( sauvignon blanc/semillion) and the Syrah. The wines from this region are elegant, refined and carry an 'old world' feel. Wade is being very modest about his wine making achievements . The wines speak for themselves... highly recommended....

I enjoyed listening to him and although I know absolutely nothing about agriculture, he gave me the impression that this sector is in good hands under his leadership. Let's just hope nobody tries to sabotage anything. We need to put our country first.

You are welcome to see the work we are doing in the WC. We feel there is tremendous opportunity to assist local farmers in creating more employment. Waste in agri processing is our main focus.

Dear John it's not plant health or animal health. It's Land health.

Please John introduce Agriculture at our Basic Education schools . These students will develop the love of agriculture at a very young age . After passing matric they will proceed to obtain Agricultural degrees at University level. Remember Agriculture has many sectors.

As basic education please bring back practical classes and trade schools. Not everyone is accedemacly incleined

SA has too many small subsistence farms, we need to drive a lot of growth there. There are folks that know how to farm, the issue for a lot of them is just scaling. You need a government subsidised operational support network, Tracktors and harvesters on the move farm to farm..

As a farmer I wasn’t too sure about John but I must say he has some good intentions. I like the humility with which he is approaching the industry. Change the narrative of "small farmers" being non-white farmers to family driven farms across all cultures and you will have much more success. Millions and millions of rands are being wasted on individuals who are connected - the focus is not on economical and enviromentally sustainable production, but rather outrages infrastructure development to enrich the tenderpreneurs and their connections in government positions. Please stop this and get that money into food production John!
