The definition of gun is any weapon incorporating a metal tube from which bullets, shells, or other missiles are propelled by explosive force. Even if you rifle the barrel of a gun for increased accuracy, it won't cease being a gun. It simply becomes a gun with a rifled bore.

It prolly depends on the ship because this one didn't smell like a cigar lounge at all... It can very well happen though because the smell of cigar smoke can be quite tough to get rid of.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think the Regal is too big for Alaska. 🤔 As for the difference, I've heard HAL usually has older passengers than with Princess.

Not really sure why Princess has a need to modify its target demographics to a much younger customer base, when they already have their sister company Carnival Cruises serving that group of guests. Why not stick to the tried and proven formula that has given them so much success in the past few decades, rather than trying to reinvent themselves?

Or perhaps they could have populated it with classic games that their existing mature clientele would enjoy, like pinball machines and pacman games.

The desserts she got through room service look like they were from specialty restaurants. Are they free with room service if you have the premier package?

@lauriewu-jf5nh Very keen observation. The desserts were from Sabatini's, which are not part of the room service menu. We actually never use room service because we prefer to go out and eat, so we "brought home" some extra desserts after dinner to use as props to demonstrate eating in our cabin.

Thanks! We're going on Sky in 11 days as well, and our balcony cabin has yet to be assigned. Some folks say the later they assign you, the better the room (possibly an upgrade), so here's hoping. Have fun on your cruise!

Totally agree with the premium desserts! I'm not sure who could survive eating unlimited amounts of those things. We only had one of those desserts each (the ones you see in the video) during the entire cruise. Also, we've always gone with the Plus Package in our previous cruises. We just thought we'd try Premier on this cruise to see if the additional perks are worth it. Going forward I think we would stick to Plus, and maybe go Premier on special occasions only. 😊

@@togetherwandering4134 The Plus package is the way to go. And of course you were making an informative video - I was not criticizing, I was just sharing our experience. And now I'll share another experience we had with Princess on our trip. We bought the pre-night in NYC in which they were supposed to pick us up at the airport - they had all the right information about our flight and we were right on time, and nobody was there. The Princess rep at the hotel admitted fault, but in spite of that we had to fight with them for three days on the ship before they finally credited us the $92 in cab fare we had to spend to get to the hotel. No other compensation at all. Then, when we left, I got different results on the "final" statement on the app, on the printout from the front desk, and then from an e-mail they sent two days later. Three different amounts! I spent literally hours on the phone trying to get someone to straighten it out. Finally our travel agent found somebody who finally got our $79 refund. VERY poor service from Princess. We've had incidents in which NCL screwed up things, but they always corrected them right away, apologized and also compensated us for our trouble. Guess which line we prefer now?

Correct. That's why the video assessment was purely based on tourists doing a quick visit, like those arriving and leaving via cruise ships. Not tourists staying for much longer. We felt more unsafe in Austin Texas last October to be honest, where two guys who appeared to be high on narcotics suddenly got on a fistfight in the middle of an intersection while everyone just watched.
