Formerly just Salt and Siren liveaboards... Todd and Jenee have brought together all their projects under one name. The Project Pit. Sometimes the pit is full of pain... and sometimes it's filled with secret gems. If you're a project person you know both sides of this too.
You'll find the vintage yacht journey of Salt and Siren here...
You'll get to challenge us to work on Atlas the military truck conversion...
You'll be witness to our new project, Anthology at Alexandria... and
You'll get a look at our small homestead where we are constantly building something new...
You'll watch them build, create, and do it all with God.
All the while you'll get more access to what happens from project to project... the stuff you don't often see. The driving, the packing, the prepping, etc. You'll also get a personal look at how they do it while working around the clock with careers. If they can do it... so can you.

It's slow going guys... The wheel and tire project was such a huge project and it took far longer than we thought. We learned a lot... including whether or not we will be able to do this ourselves if we get stuck with a flat. We can... and that says a lot given we are two people and each tire weighs in a little over 450lbs. We also change out some leaky breaks... and share our water/grey water ...

Old Salt looked good driving from his spring assisted seat! Did he tell you your butt was 4" from the 24 volt batteries that might explode? Asking for a friend.
And thankfully those batteries are finally gone and will be relocated. lol!
just generally confused as to why you would want this vehicle as a motor home. One drive to Florida and I'd sell it based upon the noise and the rough ride. Please help me understand. I thought the plan was the loop?
Hi Jon... why not do both, right? We aren't in a position to do the Lopp full time... we are still working full time. We also want to have a way to explore on land because there is just so much to see. We can't get to many places via boat, especially our boat. So... we are converting this to a smooth and truly posh space to take more adventures in. Thanks for watching.

Why did you choose gas over a diesel boat??
Todd has the most experience with gas engines... has been working on them since he was a small child. So we thought we would start with something we knew. Also... we couldn’t find the right boat configuration with the right price point... when we were shopping. This bit fell into our lap and we ran with it. 👍🏻

I just discovered you guys and I'm really enjoying your videos so far. I wanted to mention, though you might have heard this by now, that you need to be careful swimming around boats that are connected to shore power. Some poorly maintained boats can leak electricity into the water.
