This would have been an awesome cover had he gotten the lyrics right. They need to do a studio version with the right lyrics. Yeah, it may have been only one line he got wrong, but it was too obvious for me.

Aaron does amazing covers, but no one can do this song as beautifully and raw as Layne. He was such an amazing talent. I wish he could have fought his demon of drug abuse because I truly believe he would have been legendary. RIP Layne... your still a rock star.

agreed, I was expecting to hear some originality, how they interpret it. Other than the second guitar finger picking, it's pretty much just Alice's Unplugged version.

***** That's your opinion and it's perfectly fine. I personally think layne has one of the best voices ever. The way it captures the pain shared through the lyrics in songs like Same in you is just amazing
+ColdNovemberRain from a musical standpoint, Layne has an incredible range and a vibrato that can't even be compared to, that's a fact jack. You don't have to like him but he was a freak of nature from a musical standpoint, more astounding than 98% of vocalists out there. That's why a lot of today's vocalist have such respect for him.
