How to Unclog Kitchen Sink
Want to know how to unclog a kitchen sink? If your kitchen sink is clogged, it has more than likely has shut down much of your life at home. With a few easy tips, hopefully you can clear the clog in your drain and resume life as normal! There are a variety of different ways that you can clear the clog in your kitchen drain through chemicals, products, plungers, pressurizing your drainpipe, and augers. I have done this several times over the years and this is the first time I've had to get on the roof to "snake" the vent pipe. I hope this video is helpful for you and if you have any questions, feel free to drop your questions in the comments. Peace and God bless!

    Those half laps are real nice, but totally unnecessary. The angle brace takes all the load. If you secure the those joints well the gate will never sag. Anytime my angle exceeds 45 as measured from the vertical I install a 6" carriage bolt, washer and nut through both the top and bottom joint. I've used half laps when building gates using cedar, for decorative purposes. I built this nice set of cedar drive gates, and made cedar lattice for the top. (The rest of the job had cheap pine lattice as supplied by the contractor) It was a fun thing to do; I built them at home. I glued and clamped everything. I had intended to go back and reinforce the joints with fasteners. I forgot. The gates lasted from the mid to late 90's until Katrina. They were submerged.

    I built a 55 foot picket fence including an 8 foot gate 4 feet high with 1 1/2 inch space between pickets. I built the fence and gate the same way. I then cut one 8 foot section right at the post and down the pickets and rails. I cut only until I had cut through one rail and put on a hinge. Three hinges on each side. I then cut through the rails to make 2 4 foot gates. I then put on the gate latch. I then put a pipe just in front of one gate down into the ground and put a metal rod in the pipe to keep that section closed which kept both sections closed.

    Very nice video better than many. I particularly like the explanation of how to adjust the carb "by ear" All of those 2 stroke chainsaws and weedeaters have the same Walbro carb although there are many many different configurations of the output and input tubes so you generally are NOT able to replace the carb with a new one like so many people recommend on various forums, if the equipment is older. In general there's 3 different kinds of Walbro diaphrams on the market, it's definitely a wise idea to take apart yours first if you are going to buy a carb kit which is a good idea to do. Engineered fuel isn't really necessary if you run your chainsaw or weed trimmer every couple of months during the winter and it's always fun to annoy the neighbors with the characteristic 2 stroke sound. LOL. But, the engineered fuel might be worth it for the couple extra dollars if you seldom use the gear. It also helps to top up the tank instead of leaving it empty since the gas won't evaporate as quickly if the surface area is small. Note also that if you are going to go the engineered fuel route, that the carb will need to be adjusted since that fuel burns a bit differently than gasoline and oil. With these small 2 strokes, the "ressurection kit" is new fuel lines, new fuel filter, new diaphrams, new primer bulb (if needed) and a good cleaning.

    Please, don't EVER stand on the paint tray of the ladder!! Wear boots, or ANYthing that will protect your feet while working on the job. Please. You won't feel like doing anything if you have to limp around because you stepped on a flipflop nail, or WORSE and most common, a board was dropped on your toes, or your instep and broke the skin so it stings while you're sweating. (why am I talking as if I saw this happen first hand) Oh yeah, you should have put your sheathing on your walls, then stood them up. You aren't going to believe this, but I have seen wind gusts come through and literally topple a structure sideways because of all that added weight up top, and just 2x4's holding them up without any added structural integrity from sheathing. The more I see the added lumber above the floor, the more I'm wishing there were 2 more 4x4's underneath! When you were adding your tipouts front and back, it would have been easier if you made them 9 inches and a ladder on the ground, where you could just clamp one side and nail the edge till your hearts content. Yes, that would make me happy

  • @chivone21
    @chivone21 Před 14 dny

    At 04:18 you should have added ONE more 4x4 on each side of the floor, maybe leave a few inches indent or so, and put a double rim around so you have more to nail into for your sill. Moving it around, is gonna be shaky that's for sure. 2 skids just isn't enough, that's a LOT of weight once you start adding wood to that

    That automotive fuse is not a thermal fuse. It will only blow when the current melts its internal wire. A thermal fuse will blow when the vacuum motor overheats, which is going to happen at a much lower temperature. It probably won't catch on fire before it blows, but you will burn the varnish insulation off the motor windings, destroying it.

    • @rutterrealtygc
      @rutterrealtygc Před 17 dny

      Definitely should go back with the original thermal fuse. The automotive fuse will buy you some time until you can get the thermal fuse in the mail.
