GEPRC's long range 7” FPV Mark5 - Review
Way way better review than would be expected from a fpv shop. Like really really good! Personally I recently built the Quadnula F25 with a naked o3 and put the work in to make it light but still durable. It flies amazing, no props in view and is so much quieter than a 5". My new go to.
Y E S !
Thank you for the great review. TrickyFPV is on fire
Great video! I totally agree. I’m so glad we finally have smaller quads that can fly so smoothly. Living in a city it unlocks a whole new world.
Absolutely!! I wish there were more similar models to this one to try out. I'm loving the Lightning 2 because it's really small and people is not afraid of it at all.
smaller is more nimble, cheaper and can hit smaller gaps. personal theory; we settled on 5" just because it could carry a GoPro.
But the power to weight ration is also pretty great. The 5 inch category has a very wide weight spectrum in witch the drone still flies good. And the 5 inch sized props provide speed that a 3 inch couldn’t
@@Nik_FPV621 yeah power to weight ratio is crucial to a good feel. This can always be fixed on smaller quads with a bigger battery or bling. Always easier to add weight than take it away. If you haven’t tried 3.5” yet it’s a huge difference from 3”. They can keep up with a 5” at most spots.
@WindChillFPV agree, and I don't think most freestyle pilots prioritize a high top speed. Maybe for some chase shots.
@@fooojin I meant that you can, with higher speeds, do tricks like a big throw over some trees or powerloops. Without the right speed and weight that’s simple not as pleasing to do as with a 5 inch
@@WindChillFPV Not yet, I’m planing on building a 3.5 inch
That drift footage was awesome! 🤯
Glad you liked it!!
Great review @TrickyFPV. I want to jump on this, just wish they had made the camera cage a couple of mm longer so it actually protected the o3 lens.
Actually you could probably modify the camera screw-in pads on the sides by making own 3d printed versions of it to to get it more pushed inside. It could result with having props in view though...
You can see some shadows around the lens already in the footage. I think any more protection will add to those shadows. The O3 has a very wide camera angle which makes it difficult to add that kind of protection.
@@NordFPV The vignetting shadows on the corners of my shots actually come from the flywoo protective UV-lens cap for the naked o3 camera. The view is actually completely clear without it, which is pretty cool for this drone and helpful if you want to use it for cinematic shots. At first I kind of hated the vignetting effect, but now I kind of like it as it give that 90's skater vx1000 with a fisheye vibe :)
@NordFPV there are plenty of cages to o3 cameras that protects the lens without getting into view. Having broken 2 lenses already, it would be great if they could fix this for a v2. Looks awesome otherwise
Hi would you recommend to buy the Starship x1 or the eagle 1. They are the same price (for freestyle)
Hi! I have not had the chance to try the Starship x1, so I can't really say much about it, but the Eagle 1 is a lot of fun and surprised me from the first flight at how good it flies for such a small drone.
I have never flown the starship X1, but it looks exactly like the eagle with some kind of prop guard. In my head prop guard always diminish the freestyling. I may be wrong in this case since they look very thin, but I will say that it will really depends on what you want to do with the drone. If you are going to fly in proximity to people get the starship, if you are more concerned about the best freestyle performance, get the Eagle 1. Even if you get the egale one, you can see/hear Ignas saying he hit himself a few times with the Eagle 1 and didn't cause any problem to him or to the drone, so those prop guard may not do much at the end.
@@NordFPV I thought to just remove the prop guards and have a freestyle/cinewhoop in one package
@@antonio_malatestinic actually sounds like not a bad idea. From the looks of it, they both are very similar drones. The 2" props on the Eagle 1 do chop-up pretty quickly. Not sure how durable the Starship prop guards are, but they actually might make sense in certain situations.
When is it coming to the store NordFPV? Team Analog-ELRS
Between summer vacations and betafpv not having enough stock I’m forecasting this drone to be in stock late September. The Mobula 6 2024 is already in stock and they are pretty similar.
@NordFPV yes but having heard in almlst every channel that its better and cheaper, while its summer and perfect to fly outdoors anyway, I am okay with waiting :)
Great feedback. I will see if I can hurry it up.
Sick! Can I have it:) lol
Thank you!

Will this work well on a pair of DJI Goggle v2??
The V2 can work with external adapters like this one as long as you have a module. There are many, each one has pros and cons. I don’t recommend any, I don’t like it, I rather have my dedicated analog goggles.
Where do you live? That is a crazy awesome house

Which is the best li-ion battery for cinelog25
You have to check the cell manufacturer for those Li-ion cells, not the battery manufacturer. Sony Murata V6, or Molicell P30B are my favourites, but there are a couple more that can work.
Why not Cetus X???
At the time when the video was done the Cetus X didn’t exist. I have not tested the Cetus X so I can’t talk about it.
Bonsoir, j’ai build un cinebot mais impossible de faire fonctionner les leds ! J.ai un AIO Rush blade F7. Il est monté en 6S. Pouvez-vous montrer vos paramètres betaflight pour les leds ? Merci beaucoup du sud de la France 🙂 Good evening, I built a cinebot but impossible to make the leds work! I have an AIO Rush blade F7. It is mounted in 6S. Can you show your betaflight settings for the leds? Thank you very much from the south of France 🙂
If you are using a different FC/AIO than the original there’s no use to show the CLI. This LED are connected to a regular pad which is controlled by re mapping the resource to give power. This is not a regular LED. If you still want to see the CLI go to GEPRC’s website and download it from their support section.
Can't get it to work
Hello! First of all great video, thanks for your efforts 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Which one would you recommend for use at festival and windy areas? Best regards!
Hi and thanks. If windy I will get the 35. I’ve seen many flying a 25 in these environments to avoid people getting scared but then the wind don’t let them do their job correctly.
Sorry for the delay. The winner of the TPU roll is the user @Ullf_M. I will be contacting this person on a DM to arrange the shipping of the TPU.
Thank you for being the only review! Knowing the drones size would really help a review like this. Seeing the 4000mah 6s on it helped. A big question people have about 7 inch drones is the battery size that they will fit. This one specifically because it's hard to tell if it's bigger than the 5 inch version in my opinion.
I would love some Bambulab tpu

Hi, I just received my hdzero goggles and speedy bee VRX, any recommandations to improve the reception of analog signal ?? Which version of goggles firmware do you recommend ?? Do I need to update the firmware of the VRX ??
Hello. I do not own the hezero goggles, so my advices can be a bit generic. To improve reception, chose better antennas. When it comes to firmware, yes update to the latest.
when will the Air65 be released?
July 12th seems to be the new date.
@@NordFPV thx!
In regards to the led light on the nano module- Couldn't you just take a picture of the page in the manual and look at it on ur phone
Of course. There are many ways you can an do it. But the question is, is it worth the effort?
@NordFPV , what would you suggest? That would give you the same indications, while out in the field? Great videos, btw! GO SWEDEN
@@CCC0122 Thanks! I think those LED are a bit useless. You don't change those setting that often to need a 1st level indicator. They look nice though
My mother was born in Sweden! Great Job!

Where the hell is a "description " at a shorts video 😩 why do you make it so complicated ? 😒

The description is available for everyone, you have it in the short feed on the 3 dots next to the video, or if you can click on the video to navigate to my channel and then when you watch the short you will have the description at the bottom of it. Not sure why you find this complicated, and not sure what is the way that you will want to have it.

Hi! Do you know why betafpv says that hqprop 35mm props are not compatible with meteor 65 pro frame? Do you have 2022 version of your drone? Why smaller props give more control - because of less power or something else?
Hello. Where are you getting that info? That drone (pro version) is made for 35mm props. In comparison with the old meteor 65 which was only 32mm
@@NordFPV But if you managed to use it with 35mm hq props, then it should be not actual info on their site probably
@@sviatoslavhulko4758 They actually have this on their website: Suitable propeller: 35mm or 31mm propellers. Recommend Gemfan 35mm-3 propellers. Pay attention, HQ 35mm propellers is a little bit bigger and DO NOT fit for this frame. Which claims, the HQ 35 are a bit too big. But they fit on my drone ok. Maybe there was an old batch from HQProps which didn't work?
@@NordFPV Maybe) I don't know, was just curious, probably will try and will figure it out to :)
Water expands about 1500x when it vaporizes so I think a fan is unnecessary because if the water vapor was all staying in the box it would build a lot of pressure which it clearly does not.
I think the DJI extortion theory against Walksnail is just a marketing ploy. Based on what I've read I think it's far more likely these companies just don't want The excess returns If people don't want to troubleshoot Walksnail
I don’t agree. As a reseller I get to experience things regular customers don’t. I have my own experience with DJI and based on that I wouldn’t be surprised the information I’m getting from manufacturers is true.
How does it work if there is 4 slots and you’d putting in 5 PTEFE tubes
there's a Y adapter on one of the 4 holes. And as long as you don't try to push filament from both sides on that Y adapter, the printer will see only 4 filaments in total.
Can you share the stl link?
It’s in the description of the video.
They sell the frame separately, it looks very durable. I thought about getting a whoopfly 16 frame for my first build. But I can't find any other videos of one ever being built. I can only find BNF reviews. So I'm afraid to try building on one.
I will advise against using this frame. I think it doesn’t have enough air flow. There are comments on this video of people having issues even with analog setups.
Tomorrow my A1 comes, can't wait to test it! Especially with TPU as this will be my most to go material on 3D printer. And I hope it is way better then my previous printers 😀
Hey Denis!. I hope you enjoy it. And let me know if you have any issue that I can help you. I got what I think it's a pretty good TPU profile for that printer.
