    Yo I did all that and replaced every piece of electronics and it doesn't even blow enough to defrost my windshield. In the summer my fuse blew. (The air no matter the temp was CRAZY GOOD FLOW!) Took a week to get everything done and took my dash apart and my evaporator was spotless. I cleaned it anyways with water and cleaner. Didn't change anything. Took it to a shop and they want to charge me to replace a perfect evaporator core when literally weeks ago it was blowing intense. Am I possibly missing something. I'm thinking maybe they installed a shitty ass motor

    • @flinch622
      @flinch622 Před rokem

      A few things after dropping blower to make sure squirrel cage is clean. First is the resistor - they are pretty robust. Second is the a/c amplifier - if you've ever blown a fuse involving compressor clutch coil or blower motor fault, it tends to get damaged. I think you looked at those. But... you mentioned coil was spotless. A loss of airflow while operating can be caused by icing - that would be R-134 leaking anywhere and system pressure is low. I like to see 33-35 psi on the low pressure port during operation If you find low air flow is only with damper set full fresh air, but recirc is normal there is a mechanical obstructon on the inlet.

    Why did you buy all 4? Not likely ar all that four sensors went out. Try scanning abs with a scanner and look at data. The one that shows no data driving down the road is the bad one. No way all four go bad like that. Waste of money and time... ahh... do it yourself’rs...

      Fabian Dee worked on cars for twenty years... no damn way four sensors are bad. Probably 150-200 dollars each. You are assuming all four are going bad? Sorry, that is never going to happen chief. Just scan the damn car replace the one. Maybe in four years another will go bad. Then car will be twenty five you can sell it. All the other sensors are 20 years old too so replace every sensor on the car with that broken logic

    • @JE_Drift
      @JE_Drift Před 3 lety

    Hey I'm just curious about something...is your heater core laying in there on an angle? The reason I asked that is because I am going to attempt to flush my heater core this weekend. I was hoping you can tell me whether it's easier to get those clamps from under the hood or is it easier to do it floor underneath?

  • @vloniello
    @vloniello Před 5 lety

    Unfortunately my recirculate mechanism took a dive in the upper right corner between evap box firewall, its huge and wedged in there at an angle. I have done the heater cores before on gen4. My question is this...if you remove the upper right bracket and the middle bracket bolt will there be enough play on the black box downward to put that mechanism in or do you think the inlet/outlets through firewall will restrict it? I really wish i could find a process showing the box removal before I venture into it...any advice is appreciated.
