I was sure I would pick Fender here but that Vox sounds soo nice and crispy.

it would be quite easy to get the katana to sound identical to the orange or vice versa but you're not going to do it by having both set flat across the eq as analog and digital signals respond differently in that regard making this comparison null and void

I have big heavy badass tube amps....but I can take this thing to the park or lake or wherever. Im getting one.

Cleans were the best for Fender, drives the best on the AC. That being said, I’m looking for sparkly clean so I’m glad I ordered a blues jr

They all sounded exactly the same to me except the fender which sounded awful

I use one of these in my stage rig. Cleans are superb, and high gain sounds are absolutely crushing. Twist 2 knobs and you have endless tonal possibilities. My Only gripe is that mine has an EXTREMELY touchy volume knob on the clean side. Hard to find the sweet spot between too loud or too quiet.

This Tele DLX is powerful, rebellious, it doesn't wrinkle

The normal telecaster is brighter, the DLX is darker, I'll stick with the DLX

I like the Vox more, and I’m a big fender amp fan.

This is probably pointless now, but the Boss Katana has a full analog preamp section that is a continuation of the TubeLogic technology they've developed years ago. The only thing digital is the fx section. Power amp is class A/B too.

i get the feeling for drive, both together would sound super cool. i like the mid presence of the fender, but also the sizzle of the highs on the vox

The Vox AC10 both driven and clean

The Strat is definitely my favorite

Do not compare this 2. Lespaul is for dirty tone, and strato is for clean

Ever since I sold my fender blues jr I can sleep at night after 5 mos it fried circuits and blew tubes guitar center farmed out the fix I’ll I’m over unreliable tube amps I’m considering Katana gen 3 artist blue tooth attachment and stereo headphones can also do CZcams backing tracks and control settings w iPhone 👍 free at last hallelujah

Almost always digital have a sound more thin than the analog. Analog have more full dimension.

Wouldn't own either but the orange sounds way better... I'm not saying that because I hate boss products. I gave it the benefit of the doubt, orange smokes it.

Listening with headphones. In the pedals section in particular, starting at about 3:13, I hear what sounds like stereo separation. Can you comment on how these were recorded and processed? I can't understand why I would be hearing stereo. Thanks for the great video.

That poor Fender got absolutely left in the dust compared to the Marshall, Orange, and Vox. But to me it's definitely a toss up between the Orange and the Vox.

The Plexi is more open and more "classic rock" sounding than the JCM, but as far as I'm aware that's all in the fact it doesn't have a master volume, which sadly limits home use. I have the SC20 and it's amazing! I found that rolling the treble back a little bit, boosting the mids and gets you that little bit closer to the plexi tones. not quite the same, but great to my ears.

Just stumbled onto this since I just scored a JR15 to add with my OR15, great job man! Not sure if anyone caught this, but the fact that you used a Heritage 30 made me smile, as I LOVE that speaker! The OR15 sounded fierce through my Marshall 1960A cab, will find out how this JR15 will sound. Now to look for a Tiny Terror, and a Brent Hinds Terror, to add! 🤘🏾
