Hi, it's too bad you're having trouble with this. What's in the message after the "unknown card title" part? For example, if I tried to import a decklist with "20 Plain" instead of "20 Plains," the message is "...unknown card title: Plain."

@@BoltYouMTG I was able to get the reward that was shown in the video - after I translated the terms into German. The link to the mtg page was more confusing than helpful, I thought I would have to enter something there - but that wasn't the case.

If you try and import this to Arena, CZcams may put in extra line breaks which can cause issues with the import. Copy the above decklist to Notepad and take out the extra line breaks before copying and importing.

I’ve tried pasting and re-pasting this from notepad. No luck. Was there a time limit on claiming the prize?

@@wiiblewobble Just select the entire list, copy (CTRL + C on Windows), then go into Arena and click the import button, then scroll down to the bottom of the decks page, find and rename the imported deck to "thewayisopen."

Hi, it's too bad it didn't work for you. I know it's still valid though. What message is displayed when you click the Import button? Make sure you select all of the text from "1 Case of the Stashed Skeleton..." to "... 1 The Pride of Hull Clade," and then copy that selected text. If you want, you can paste it, but it probably isn't necessary. Whether you paste it or not, click the Import button. I’ll explain it in detail because it’s important if you’re playing this game the next time they ban cards in formats on Arena. Unfortunately, it’s too late for this ban because, as the description shows, this ended December 5th. I’m going to include basic stuff you may already know because I don’t know which part you don’t understand. This game has different formats like Standard, Explorer, and Historic. Sometimes cards get banned in those formats, like Karn, the Great Creator and Geological Appraiser both just got banned in Explorer on December 5th. However, the ban was announced on December 4th, giving Arena players time to get free cards. When bans take place on Arena, players who have the banned cards are given a wildcard of the corresponding rarity for each copy they possess. For example, if you didn’t know about this but happened to have two Geological Appraisers when the ban took effect on December 5th, you would’ve received two uncommon wildcards. For those that knew about this on December 4th (maybe because they saw this video) but didn’t have the cards that were about to be banned, they could’ve used four rare wildcards to get four Karns and four uncommon wildcards to get four Appraisers, which is what I demonstrate in the video. I didn’t show getting the wildcards back this time because that would require making a second video again. I say again because in the description of this video, I put links to two videos that I already uploaded: one using wildcards to get cards before they were banned in a format on Arena and another getting the wildcards back. Getting the wildcards back is why it’s considered getting free cards. Why would someone want free banned cards? Usually, cards that get banned can be played in other formats; like Karn can be played in Historic and the Appraiser can be played in Standard.

Yes, this is a great deck. Getting a 2/2 creature token in addition to the equipment at a reasonable cost is just the tip of the iceberg. Congrats on the amazing records!

Actually, the deck is pretty good relative to the other starters. I thought the person who brought it up was kidding, so I was just playing along.
