Exactly! Michael put it right out there! Timing is EVERYTHING! It can be just a couple of notes with the drummer, out of nowhere. And it's that time when people least expect that you do it. Just like Michael said. Just 2 or 4 notes with the right force and sustain, at the right time, makes all the difference in the world.

It's a good thing Michael got out of the pre med deal at IU. There are enough doctors, and it's not required to have even close to the creativity that Michael Brecker has i your hospitals. Not even close.

Michael was the pinnacle of human achievement in every way of his playing, a genius gone too soon but he left a world of wisdom that will live forever. R.I.P Master.

I’ve been blessed to have seen this group live with every drummer from the late Ricky Lawson R.I.P., Will Kennedy, and Marcus Bailor in just about every venue in greater Los Angeles to include the Roxy at the “Live Wires” live recorded CD. The greatest group ever in my opinion. Have had the opportunity to meet them all personally. Great moments in life. What a gift to have experienced. Will’s a GOAT!

Great men from a great era. And Tatum, untrained, half blind, little recognition and less money, marginal health, and short lived - all that, and he stands alone, unmatched, cannot be bested, the greatest piano playing genius of all time. Martha Argerich a very close second, and best of all time in her genre. Both in another universe light years ahead.
