I might have mentioned this before, but my wife and I have the same Wilderness kayaks - love them. We've been using them well over 10 years. It's so cool to be right on the water next to a harbor seal! Beautiful video!!! Lots of adventures to come! Cheers

For your info The lock in Carillon and other closed the first week of October and re-open only the first week of June. Always ben like that...close for winter

I was in the search for a much smaller aluminum boat but ended up with a hewescraft. Lots of great brands out there hope you find the right fit

19A is a much prettier route to Comox. Desolation Sound is great. You will love it.

Perhaps you could promote using the "ocean route" 19 A instead of the see nothing freeway of 19. I know you live on the island but these types of video are aimed at tourism. Maybe they could have a burger at the FBI. Help locals economy.

Glad to see you made it. That area is where we boat every weekend, going from Mullica River, across Great Bay, and into Absecon Inlet. Have seen many boats go just a tad outside the channel and get grounded. Good luck on remainder of your trip

I grew up near Ste Anne de Bellview but was never affluent enough to do any boating there.

I have a couple questions if you don't mind my asking. Stay Cool is a beautiful Boat!! Now that you've sold her, would you have liked a little bigger boat? Say...40 or 43 foot? Also, in your opinion, would you rather have had a twin-screw boat? Or were the thrustes find for maneuvering .

Just a notice! The 3025 is actually a destination, other than a GFX! Still a great boat. We own a destination, and surprisingly, we prefer it more than a GFX.

Fished the Mighty Ottawa River below the Parliament Building and by the old log flume and then fished the Riduea Canal above the first lock in a 16' Fisher Marine and 20 hp Johnson outboard motor with my Yorkie Rudy Toot 2 while visiting my wife's parents in Ontario, the wife didn't fish! But it was and still is my most favorite vacation & fishing trip! Canada is beautiful and some great Small Mouth fishing too! Great Video

Thanks for visiting from Beachwood NJ. Curious why you chose Manasquan inlet over Barnegat to get to Pine Beach? We had an inboard with a 3 1/2 foot draft and ran that section regularly. No problems if you follow the markers.

Fyi the Seapiper was orriginally designed and molds bui!t in so-cal but the molds were sent to China for production. 10-15 were produced then. Production returned to the us with minor deck changes built to based on experience with first production run. Boat is reminesnt of the wood pendcott boats bui!t in 60' &70's that also had the center cotpit. Some of the owners of the first boats have found ways to get shade over the cotpit. Vital in anywhere but pnw. Interesting design but 10' beam is trailable as a simp!e wide load and would enhance the living space. They missed a trick there. Cheers warren

I live in troy and Boat on the river. The Salt water ends south or West Point USA Military Academy . Troy Has Several Colleges in town including Russel Sage Collage, Hudson Valley Community College. and RPI. The Collage of Sant Rose Is Now closed down in Albany, This happened This Spring 2024. Liked your tour.

Nice trip, thx for sharing. I liked the American Tug 43, kept comparing with your mainship. All these new boats have beautiful interiors, I might have to restart purchasing lottery tickets to fuel the dream of owning one. The luxury boats reminded me of the film overboard....worth a rerun. Jeez it must be hard for you to go back to looking at trailerables after visiting these 🙂
