I heard this song on my local rock station like 20 years ago, give or take a year or three. The station on Fridays or Saturday, or maybe it was Friday and Saturday nights, after midnight it would be uncensored, uninterrupted metal. Lots of death metal, also what eventually became to be known as metalcore (this was also how and when I first heard strapping young lad as well. Speaking of which I haven't listened to them in like probably 20 years), The berserker, not very much black metal, and they didn't really play any cheesy hair metal at all. This was all growling and breakdowns type of metal. Back then it was still normal to be walking around with a tape player, CD player if you had the money, which whenever I was a kid I had not lol So it was cassettes and tape players for me, and my parents would never purchase CDs for me, especially any bands that I actually liked, so I had to just record songs from the radio onto cassette, and whenever I would play 1080 or THPS, or GoldenEye, I would just sit in my bean bag chair with my stereo right next to me my headphones in, and this one night this song came on and at the time for me it was a toss up on whether or not I would decide to record a song especially if I've never heard it, so I have to make up my mind in a couple seconds to hit the record button, and I'm glad I did with this song. For years I didn't know the name of the artist or the song, and so whenever the rock station would be taking phone requests I have to like in very dumb clumsy form try to recite the lyrics or describe like what the guitar sounded like (basically in Beavis and Butthead form lol) and the guy on the end would bear with me as long as he could and then just say okay yeah kid I got you lol And sometimes it would literally be an entire day before the song might play, sometimes it'll be in a short time like 2 or 3 hours, and then other times the song never played because some dumb kid is just trying to explain a song with no band name or song name by making guitar noises with his mouth and asking if anyone knew what he was talking about 😂

Reminds me a little of Lucretia My Reflection by Sisters of Mercy, when the chorus of nuns sing, (post 3 mins in) very nice evocative arrangement here. Last time I listened very often to Malice Mizer was around debut of BeastBlood. So it’s been some years. Lovely string arrangements (or quality synths) use of chorus back ups, and clean vocals. Very nice

Best show I ever went to they had some killer lighting effects especially when they played this song. Soon as the "And then i saw the blood.. coming!" part the whole venue went pitch black. the pit was insane
