This is only a short glimpse of the magic that took place April 2018 at Angel Orensanz Center in New York City with Manhattan Girls Chorus under the artistic and music direction of Michelle Oesterle. We are very grateful to have discovered this video taken by one of our parents, Andy Munitz, so we are now able to share this with you.
Tuvayhun was commissioned by Michelle Oesterle and Manhattan Girls Chorus, with beautiful music by Kim André Arnesen, powerful lyrics by Charles Anthony Silvestri, and the exquisite lighting design, choreography and stage direction by Michelle Oesterle and Emily Maltby. This world premiere created a memory that will be cherished forever by our young women and those who were present.
