Outdoor Education Opportunities
The Highlands Center for Natural History is a regional hub for lifelong learning through outdoor education. We nurture a meaningful sense of place and foster an appreciation for and knowledge of the Central Arizona Highlands. The development of both onsite and offsite programs and partnerships provides opportunities for our community to understand the connections between humanity and the natural world, inspiring all to live in a respectful and sustainable way.

The Wild Sky Islands with Ken Lamberton

We are excited for Ken Lamberton to join us on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 to offer a Community Nature Study Series presentation on “The Wild Sky Islands.” He will provide an intimate view in words and images of one of the world’s most exotic places right here in Arizona. The Arizona Master Naturalist Central Highlands Chapter will be hosting this event at the Highlands Center for Natural History.
